Great Dog Carrier
By Debs on Jan 9, 2021
This backpack is perfect for my 12 year old 12lb dog. We go on hikes with our dogs and sometimes she just can't go the whole way. This was she can join! It is comfy for her, lots of room still and comfy to wear and carry her. I've tried other backpacks that didn't have the cushioned straps or a waist band. It also has three pockets to carry all their stuff! The only thing that would be better if it had a water bottle holder on the side instead of one of the pockets.

Very SMALL
By Rebecca on Jan 16, 2021
I have a 10 lb chihuahua and he cannot fit comfortably in this. He is too short for his head to stick out of the top but too big to be comfortable inside. It seems well-made but not very practical in application. the picture on the box has a Jack Russell in the back- yeah right! Ain't no way a dog that size fits in this thing.

Does not fit my 15 pound dog
By Shayla on Aug 1, 2020
These are advertised to fit dogs up to 20 pounds. It works fine for my littler dog (12 pounds) ONLY with the top off, but my other 15 pound girl absolutely cannot fit no matter what - and she looks highly uncomfortable and unsafe the way she hangs halfway out of it. These are very small and should be described as being able to fit dogs no more than 12 pounds. I am trying to return one pack for a refund, if it goes smoothly I will update to three stars. The good thing I do have to say is that with my littler dog, she seems pretty secure in it, and the thick straps and additional chest strap distributes her weight so that it is very comfortable to carry her. Needs a stiffer bottom
By BusterBBB on Apr 8, 2020
All in all it feels like a good bag. We've not had to put our little buddy in it yet, though did to test it out. He seems relaxed in it however the bottom is rather soft. Husband is going to retrofit the bottom with something to help support our little boy.

Much to small for 20# dog
By Chner on Apr 26, 2020
Pulled it out of the box and could tell there was no way my 20# terrier mix would fit. Hopefully it can be returned!

Strong, caustic smell
By Penny on Oct 23, 2019
Meh. This thing is okay. Still haven't found a good cat backpack (combo carrier or just backpack). Too bad chewy doesn't carry those bubble backpacks for cats. It's lightweight and easy to carry. It has a detachable padding on the bottom. There's a hook inside of the pack to hook my cats harness on as security. This is essential, since she will just jump after a bird or something. But the hook is way too short. It forces her to sit upright. And makes her uncomfortable. I had to find a way to extend it. Like other reviews have said, it's a bit unstable. There's no rigid sides, so if I don't hold onto the bottom of the pack, my cat tips out. Works better when she's zipped up inside, but she Meh. This thing is okay. Cons: caustic smell. Short harness hook. No water bottle pocket. 9lb cat tips out easily … more

Worked well!
By Slaz on Nov 7, 2019
Used this for my elderly Maltese so she could accompany us for walks. Put a folded up fluffy blanket on the bottom to raise her up high enough to see out. Very comfortable to use, we were both happy with this purchase!

Does the trick
By cmarie on Aug 27, 2019
It works well enough for my 7lb dog, but I wouldn't recommend it for dogs much bigger than that. I usually line with a thin blanket for his comfort. As other reviews mentioned, the bag could really benefit from some additional support on the bottom. How you position your dog in the bag will make a lot of difference. Overall, it's very durable and has a lot of storage compartments.

Very happy to have this backpack!
By M2019 on Aug 11, 2019
This backpack has been a lifesaver in the city with my Jack Russell/Chi mix puppy! I like the secure snap for the harness so he cannot jump out of the bag and the side pockets for storage of a leash, keys, etc. Another great feature is the top zippers which is perfect for when I take him traveling on the train. He is currently 9 pounds right now and the backpack still works for him and is a hit with everyone who sees him in it!

not a very great bag, but definitely a great company
By Billy on Jul 12, 2019
Ah, don't get this one. I got it because it was the only carrier that had the right dimensions for my delta flight, but the zipper broke, and the bottom has no support, so I bought a plastic tray to try to fix it, but thats just a hassle. Keep looking! - but do it on chewy!!! This website and company are amazing. I got a full refund with no return hassles, no questions, no stress. I will definitely buy my replacement on here!
