Pretty much what the headline says. Also, it's kind of small and my new puppy is small - so that means it's really small. We would try to keep him in and zip it but it was just too hard. His front little legs kept coming out and preventing us from keeping him in it.
This backpack is EXACTLY what I was looking for!! My 12 lb dachshund fits comfortably sideways (she can even lay down!) and doesn't have to sit upright when she's inside which is something I wanted to avoid with her long back. The front chest and waist clips keep it super secure on my back, the padded shoulder straps are great, especially on hikes and the extra pockets provide plenty of storage for treats, poop bags, phone, keys, etc. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a backpack for their pup!
this was ae wonderful back pack that we used on vacation with our little dog. Our dog is only 9 lbs so it worked well and she had tons of room to move around.
It works as described but the straps needs more padding. I added padding to the straps so my shoulders don't hurt while carrying my 10 pound dog in it. I like the lumber support.
Perfect fit for my arthritic 15 lb Jack Russell Terrier with her head sticking out the side. If she were any bigger horizontally it would have been tight. The bottom can extend a couple inches taller but we didn't need to extend it and she sat comfortably. Zipper pocket and side mesh pockets are handy for carrying supplies and a water bottle. There's a harness/collar clip inside for security. Material is easy to wipe down and backpack can be worn pretty comfortably both on the front and back. The straps could be more padded and the bottom could be firmer for support but for the price (bought on sale) it's good enough.
