For active dogs, this is great. I bring this outside to have my pup get some energy out by running around chasing this thing, and for that purpose, it’s great. However, my puppy was able to chew COMPLETELY through the nylon string and the mouse fell through. I kind of fixed it by just tying the mouse on the remaining nylon myself, but I’m just shocked because the nylon looked so thick and my 12 week old puppy was able to chew right through it. Despite that, I still recommend this because even my attempt at fixing it still keeps my dog really entertained. The picture is my tying the string around the center of the fake mouse. … more

My 4m puppy LOVES this toy! When he sees me bring it out he gets very excited. He has a ton of energy so its perfect to burn it off. The only down side is the teaser toy ripped. It ripped at the seam, its not like he ripped a new hole in it. We had this for less than 24hrs. We played with it about 4 times in total (10-15min each time). Im happy it came with a replacement but I will need to get more. The pole & string/rope is surprisingly sturdy. Its good quality. I also wish that the teaser toy wouldn’t be Soooo fuzzy. The fur gets in his mouth. It might last longer if your dog knows the “drop it” command that way they get the reward part knowing they can catch it but also doesn’t chew it for too long. … more

Not great for cats
By Mloo on Feb 23, 2021
While this toy references ‘Cat’ in the name, it is actually very big and my cat, who is a super ‘hunter’ and loves to chase mouse toys, is wary of this toy. Could be just my cat’s response, but it really doesn’t seem like a cat toy, especially with the thick lead that the critter is attached to. I wish I had paid more attention to the specs. I’ll have to find a friend with a dog who may like this.

My dog loves this toy!
By Susan on Feb 23, 2021
As soon as I took this out of the package my dog went wild. He insists on playing at least twice each day. Great for llittle dogs with tons of extra energy and also for low key dogs. Cats too. The rope is a woven material that is very tough, so when my dog goes for the rope he can't destroy it. It's really strong but maybe not for a great big energetic dog.

Great until it was chewed through
By MelR on Feb 21, 2021
My 3 month old puppy loved chasing the toy, but she figured out it was easier to catch the rope than the toy and loved chewing on the rope even more. It wasn't long before she had chewed through the rope. Also, switching the toy at the end was really difficult. If you have a less determined chewer, this would be great, but I would not buy it again as is for my puppy.

Really happy with this flirt pole.
By MickeysMom on Feb 18, 2021
To my Papillon Mickey, Flirt Pole is Life! Outside I use a horse lunge whip with a toy attached, and was looking for something smaller to be used indoors this winter. This works great, it’s almost as springy as my flirt pole, and I love that it comes with two toys, as my boy is pretty hard on them. First toy lasted a month with daily play. I usually attach a skineez stuffing free toy to my flirt pole, and will do so once these toys are shredded. I now have three of these flirt poles, my boy loves them.

Dachshund love love loves this toy. Great for apt or living room play. I wouldn’t leave my dog with this alone bc he chews the fluff off but having this handy for rainy days or snow is a must. Love.

Great toy!
By BostieLover on Feb 17, 2021
My dog is a huge fan of chasing everything. This is his new favorite toy. Most toys we have to wiggle in front of him to get him interested but that's the point of this one.

This keeps our puppy busy and active for long periods, where other toys he gives up on rather quickly.

Life Saver for my Energetic Pup
By RachelD on Feb 14, 2021
This is a life saver for my energetic Terrier pup that doesn't like to play fetch yet. I use this to tire her out when it's too cold to go for long walks. She did chew the first mouse attachment because I accidentally let her have it for too long, but as long as you get the toy out of her mouth quickly it will last a while. High reccomend!
