Live Insects and Temperature: Extreme weather conditions are the #1 cause of shipments dying in transit. Temperatures below 20F and above 95F can be deadly, even with our carefully developed shipping standards. Please take a look at the temperature forecasts for your shipping destination for the delivery date range before placing an order. If temperatures at the shipping destination are out of this range, there is a significant chance your order may not arrive live. Please keep in mind that our insects are a natural product. Some amount of variation is normal and expected. All sizes are sold as an average and there will always be some that are larger or smaller than the average in an order.
Live Banded Crickets.
Crickets will happily eat a range of fresh fruits and vegetables if you choose to supplement their diet. We still suggest providing dried feed in addition to any fresh vegetables. Too much moisture can cause wet frass, which can lead to excess moisture and bacteria in your rearing habitat. If you choose to add fresh fruits and vegetables, replace the veggies regularly and watch carefully for signs of mold and rot. Do not feed crickets products that contain mangos.

Ordered 1000 adults, box arrived today, --First of all they were packed into a too small regular cardboard box with no air holes. --Rotten Moldy potatoes we supplied for food... --There were other unknown beetles/bugs... -- 95% of them were DEAD! Only upside is refund was done quick. Avoid at all costs!
Ordered 250 all were alive upon arrival bigger than expected so my baby beardie couldn’t have them but fast delivery and I plan on ordering smaller next time……also to anyone complaining about the box and not being able to transfer them to a container I’ll say cut the tape open and dump the box in a trash bag, put your hand in and shake them all off the egg crates and then transfer them from the bag into the container…….worked well for me and only one cricket got loose because he was still hidden in the box somewhere out of sight lol
The crickets are fine. Good percentage of them alive, and good size; however, the box they come in is not easy to get them out. I need to transfer them to a plastic cage for storing until it's time to feed our dragon, and it is impossible to get them out! The box needs a small hole of some kind that you can easily dump the crickets out of into the other container. Once the box is opened there are crickets flying everywhere!
The box wasn’t taped well and crickets were crawling out as I brought the box into my home. When I opened the box, there may have been 10 left in there. The rest have escaped. I’m torn between being happy for them and wanting more to feed my spiders.
I received the crickets in the mail, ordered 1000 of them, opened box and they were all dead. Wasn't very happy
When I open the box and open it up I can almost guarantee there was not a thousand count I'm not much of a mathematician but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's more or less of a 500 count box
I received the crickets and most were alive. But within a few days a good percentage had died. I will likely order again, to see if maybe it was just a bad batch.
I ordered a 1000 of these crickets i would be shocked if 250 of them were alive out of the 1000 I ordered a waste of money and time
I have several types/sizes of Geckos. Glad I can now include Crickets in my orders and save money on shipping.
Order 250 crickets and recieves an empty box. It was sealed so the didn't escape. The just weren't put in the box.
