Small

I bought 1000 crickets to start my own cricket farm for my lizards. They were much much smaller then I was expecting( not that my lizards care) but it made them hard to get out of the box and to the holding bin. On a extreme positive note, only had maybe 5 dead crickets. I get more then that trying to drive 30 mi s from the pet store with 100. Overall good value, just be prepared for quick fast small crickets

Amazing quality

I ordered a thousand crickets which they send you approximately 10% more on top of that to make up for any that died during transport so I had approximately 1100 cricket shipped to me and out of 1100 crickets I literally only had 2 dead in the box. The only thing that I could suggest to make it easier to get them out of the box is putting some form of poor spout on the box. I lost probably about 100 crickets while trying to transfer them into their final destination LOL thank goodness I was outside doing it. Now my backyard sounds like a cricket infestation lol all in all I will definitely be always ordering my crickets from chewy

great crickets

I’ve ordered from quite a few vendors and expos. I have not run into any issues at all with these crickets. They all arrive alive and good size, even in this heat! Will continue ordering, as always chewy comes through for all my babies!

Beetles

Ordered 1000 crickets I only seem to have 500ish and 200 beetles. 50 beetles escaped in my house as soon as the top flap opened and I have about another 100 flying around in my cricket tank.

I order the crickets fairly often. 98.9 % of the time they arrive intact and thriving. Any time I have had any issues, the issues are resolved immediately and are generally the fault of the delivery service, not Chewy or the breeder. Much appreciation for making life easier via one stop shopping for my animals

Satisfied Finally

I've ordered from two different stores for crickets and was so disappointed. So this was my last try and wow I'm very satisfied, all the crickets were healthy and very alive. Thankyou.

great deal

Saw some of the other very negative reviews, honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by my 1st shipment, crickets are tough to send and you have to be meticulous in also un boxing a shipment, I may not do this route in the highest heats of summer but in milder temps… this is a tremendous buy in my opinion, I had very very very few arrive dead, as a person who received regular cricket shipments in my previous experience working, I saw a lot more arrive dead then than anywhere near the positive experience chewy afforded!

Very Poor Care

Zero insulation. All crickets dead. I have never seen such poor care from anywhere else I have ordered. Absolutely zero insulation for a cardboard box of live crickets in winter. Ridiculous. I would never order again. Made me give it one star, it deserves none.

breathing

Three times we have gotten crickets and every time they are in a sealed box and half of them are dead!

Lots of dead crickets

Shipping was pretty quick but alot of the crickets came dead and over the course of a week most had died, which was quite unusual for me. I usually buy crickets and they last me around a month from other companies so I was pretty disappointed these dies so quickly.
