The old saying “if it’s not broken then don’t fix it” sums it up here. Oxbow has broken a lot of little critter hearts with their faulty update changes on their snack items. What was once a beloved treat is now thrown out in the trash. And the vitamin C tabs are a necessity for piggies! Bring back the good version of your products and make our babies happy again! I’m just one voice of many for the voiceless...

5 stars for old recipe, my guinea pigs absolutely loved these treats but they recently changed them and were so sad now! They turn their noses up, only one will eat them now. They used to squeak like crazy when we would open the bag.

Our two bunnies loved these. When you walked in the room and touched the canister we kept them in, the bunnies went wild! They couldn't wait to get them and we only gave them these since they are awesome and healthy and their favorite. We just got our latest refill of 6 bags and loaded up the canister. First thing we noticed is that the shape is different. They are thicker and have a hole in the center. This is not a problem, it is better that they are thicker, more chew time for those teeth. Oxbow said they changed the shape so they didn't break as much during shipping. Okay - not a problem. We popped the top, the bunnies came running, climbing up each other to get their favorite treat. Then we handed them each one. Nope. Immediately they treat was on the carpet and Butters and Dumpling turned away. So we waited a while and tried it again. Nope. They weren't having it, not a nibble. I checked the ingredient list. There are two changes. Oxbow went from organic carrots to organic carrot powder (I don't think that would make that much difference, but who knows.) The other change was that they have added Oat flour. It is the 6th ingredient out of 11, so I suppose they can smell it. Please be aware that both Oxbow and Chewy have not changed the package picture, nor the ingredient list on either of their websites as of yet. My bunnies love these! They usually aren’t crazy about new things but immediately loved these treats.

My two guinea pigs LOVED the old recipe it was one of the only treats they like for bedtime. The new recipe they won’t even take from me. Really sad that it’s changed. Would give anything for some of the old bags.

for awhile this treat was hard to get with all the pandemic craziness -- so happy can get them wm again for my girls. They love them - noshing on biscuits is a real favorite thing for them to do.

First off they are very large pieces and I had to break them in half. My 2 chinchillies (who are very picky) moved so fast to snatch these out of my hands. They then preceeded to scarf them down and then looked around for more! These are the only treats that garner that kind of attention. I originally ordered the small bag but it looks like I need to get a bigger bag.

He can’t wait to get these. He stands up and begs for them. He loves these.

Not liking the new shape of these biscuits. They are twice the size and weight of the original biscuits, which I've been ordering for years for my rabbits. Now I have to break them in half twice a day, which is not easy to get exact without a tool but not really a big deal. The new packaging is different and the recipe is slightly different, but they are still organic and the buns still love them, so I'll continue to order them.

My 4 buns absolutely love these! And I feel good knowing they are good for them!
