GI Stasis?
Rabbit ate the whole center portion in one night. Absolutely loved it, but then went into GI stasis right after. Could have been the addition of bok Choy to his diet at the same time. I am not sure, but I certainly will be avoiding both from here on out. Written while sitting at the vet with bunny.
It was okay
It entertained my mice for a moment. I've seen them far more interested in other things, but at least they gave it the time of day!
meh, seems unsafe
My rabbit is still pretty young (less than a year) so I’m still in the process of finding out what her toy interests are. This toy was part of a deal and I got it for free basically so I figured why not try it. My rabbit couldn’t have cared less lol. The barrel part has a few nibbles and seems rather sturdy which is a plus. However, the end pieces make me nervous because that material doesn’t seem safe if ingested. Oxbows whole thing is making sure the stuff is safe and fun for small animals, but this toy made me anxious. Glad I got it for free because I wouldn’t pay almost $5 for this when there are hundreds of other toys for the same price that are safer and more enticing. TLDR: my rabbit didn’t even acknowledge it and the tassel ends seem a little unsafe if accidentally eaten
Not Safe??
My mice absolutely loved this toy and were all over it the second I gave it to them. However, after they had pulled the paper off the sides, I realized the wood center is hallow and completely filled with expanding foam. By the time I realized this, there were already pieces of foam my mice had removed and possibly ingested. I tried searching online and was unable to confirm whether expanding foam is okay for small animals to ingest, but common sense tells me it cannot be good. As much as my pets loved this toy and I am sure yours will too, I would STRONGLY recommend to supervise your pet while they are playing with this toy and take it away from them while you are not around to ensure their safety.

This is my bunnies favorite toy. She chews on the paper and wood and it keeps her entertained for a while!

They decided to try to make it part of their bedding. I kept finding it stuffed into their Sputnik.

I just received these in my recent order, and I’m pleasantly surprised how much my bunnies love these! My avid chewer, Rue, absolutely devoured hers and begged for another. The size varied a little between the three that I ordered, but for the price, these are great! I recommend these for bunnies, and will order more!
