Leaks

I bought two of these and they both leaked A LOT through the stem and completely soaked the bedding. I tried repeatedly to tighten the nozzle and stem thinking it was something I was doing wrong, but I wasn't, it's the design. Too bad because it's got a great attachment sytem and sleek look.

Horrible leaks within weeks, also water goes fast . I have a gueine pig and i would have to fill up twice a day even before it leaked. Dont waste your money

Horrible design

Ordered this bottle for my two dwarf rabbits, as their last water bottle was too small. This bottle did nothing but leak. I was wiping water off the bottom of my rabbits cage at least 4 times a day because I puddle formed from this bottle leaking. It doesn't sit at the right angle and the ball won't sit flush with the mouth spout, so it constantly leaks water.

dont waste your money

Their is a washer in the end of this my guinea pigs found it and now the things leaks all the time not to mention a rubber washer is very dangerous for small animals

Stopping the water from pouring out

This bottle is the best option but, if you're going to fill it while mounted to a cage, you have to place a finger over the end, where the water is distributed to your pets. 1. Open the top of the bottle 2. Place a finger over the end spout (where the ball trap is). 3. Fill bottle until full. 4. Place the cap back on the water bottle THEN move your finger, only after its tightened. This will keep the water from pouring out. You can test this method over your sink.

It leaks!!!

I've tried everything like tightening etc and it still leaks.

Dangerous rubber seal

The black rubber seal comes loose (luckily my pigs didn't get ahold of it) within a week and the water drains so easily it pools and soaks bedding. I have four and of these bottles and it happened with them all.

Missed The Mark

I bought one of these bottles a while back to see how my picky guinea pigs liked it. Noticed their mat was soaked with water a few hours after first use and that the bottle was completely empty. Got another one from my local pet store just in case the one I ordered first was defective and it did the exact same thing. Even tried bending the nozzle to the angle of the older bottles and it made it worse. I love Oxbow products but this one just isn’t working for my little dudes.

Water bottle drips nonstop

I have 2 of these bottles. One is perfect; the other doesn’t stop dripping! Disappointed.
