If you're wondering if medium is big enough.. wonder no more. My cat fits her whole body in it easily. I got it for my rats but if she really wants it...

I like the product in general, its sturdiness is just fine. It's quality fabric. It seems sturdy enough to definitely get a handful of use and wash cycles out of it. As an experienced owner of guinea pigs I would've recommended this item as soon as I got my hands on it without even testing it, but as soon as I got home from work I noticed a very strong smell coming from the box. When I opened the box the smell of pine sol was very overwhelming. Guinea pigs are very very sensitive to strong smells and can even become deathly sick from over powering odors such as urine. Has anyone else opened their package to find this product having an overwhelming scent of pine sol?

The hideout looks exactly like the picture and has very thick, quality material. It's exactly what I was looking for and this is the only place I could find one. I got it for my guinea pig and he loves it. It's the perfect size. The only issue I have with it is that my guinea pig tried to jump on top and it collapsed. That wouldn't be a huge problem except from that point on, it collapsed all the time. Now it just lays on its side and he sits in it like that.

This hideout is flimsy and doesn't stand up well. The problem is with the opening...the base has a very thin band of woven fabric and doesn't hold up well. My rabbit has jumped on top and it won't support his 2 lbs.

We have found this hideout sturdy, attractive (great color!), and very useable. Our guinea pigs love it!

Says the item is washable... collapsed and guineas couldn’t use as a hidey hole.

My small "skinny pig" can fit in this, but that's about it - a medium might be better for the 'average' pig.

I ordered a medium but was worried if my guinea pigs will fit. Turns out it is very roomy for my girls! They love the hideout and it’s very sturdy as well

Very flimsy doesn’t stand up at all and to large for current cage and the price paid excepted better quality and it was very poor quality do not recommend buying this

Bought the large when it was finally back in stock - should be 14” in diameter as website size is listed at 14x14 (not including height as not relevant). Well, actually measurement is between 12-12.25” in diameter (as not a perfect circle you see so 1 measurement was 12 & the other was 12.25. That’s almost a whole 2” missin!!! That’s a lot when you needed that full 14” to possibly fit a Californian. Quality seems great, but do not buy based on Cherry’s listed measurements as quite off and won’t work if you have a large breed bun. Won’t work...
