i would love to buy the 20 lb bad but how long will its last while open?

Mmmmmmmm Good

I've always loved oxbow brand for my exotics & this young rat food lived up.to.standards!! My young rats just LOVE IT!! Oxbow forever!!

My rats love these

I know these are meant for rat food, but my girls think they are treats! They come running when I pull the bag out, and before filling their bowl I have to hand them each a pellet.

My Mice Love It!

I have 7 mice and they were previously on the regular oxbow mouse food. They would eat it but I wanted to try this because is seems like a better blend. My girls seem to enjoy this more and I think I’m going through more of it. Highly recommend.

Mice love it, rats don't

Title says it all. But my mice will eat ANYTHING, so that might not be saying much. I have young rats and old rats and none of them liked this food. They much prefer the Mazuri. Even my pregnant rat, who is currently eating whatever you put in front of her, won't eat this. It's a shame because it has more nutritional value for her than adult rat foods.

Young blind Male rat

Coco loves them!!! He's eating more daily as he grows. He's somewhat challenged due to his blindness, but he has no problem getting to his food and treats. He's a very Happy rat, playing with his toys too.!!!

Awesome food for my mice!

I've tried a few different food blocks for my mice. Mazuri, Oxbow's Essentials for Young Rats and Adult Mice, and this! My mice hands down prefer the Oxbow Garden Select over Mazuri and Oxbow Essentials. The price is great, my mice love the taste, and I like the resealable bag.

Pretty good

First ingredient being oat, I noticed it kept the boys poop on the regular side. I tried the regular version of these and made their poop black and also no hate to corn but I say these ingredients are better ! Didnt give 5 stars because although I wish I had a non wire base for the cage, it is so and they fall easily through when they get to a side with just wire.
