Great toy for Chinchillas
I bought this before for my guinea pig and she hated it. That's not anything bad with the toy though, it's my guinea pig's toy preference. Both of my guinea pigs hate wood toys. Ended up throwing it away. Several weeks ago I adopted a chinchilla and I recently purchased this toy for him for Christmas since he chews absolutely everything and I'm always searching for a fun toy that will last him longer and give him brain enrichment. He absolutely LOVES this toy! He sits on top and chews the wood or sits there watching TV. He sits inside of it like it's a hideout and he chews toys from inside. He pulls on the toys in a string trying to figure out why he can't carry them away. The first day he worked on it until he unhooked the first string of toys but it took him several hours. He's had it almost two weeks now and he only has two strings off so it is lasting him. He chews every part of it and it keeps him happily busy for a long time.
Rats love it!
Put this toy in the playpen for my rats and they immediately swarmed it! One of their favorites and they frequently go back over to it.
Cute Toy...but my rabbit lost interest
I bought this thinking it would entertain my rabbit, it did for 2 days until she ripped all the beads and wooden toys off...then she was no longer interested. I thought it would be good for her to gnaw on, but she still gnaws at her house instead.
It fell apart
I have bought this twice before and my rats love it. I bought this for 2 of my new boys and it fell apart when I opened the box from Chewy. This would have been a good toy for them and I had planned on getting more but now I’m not so sure.
My Guinea Pigs Love this!
Our guinea pigs love to run through this, stretch up high to reach the top, and sometimes even use the bathroom in it. The colors are nice and it is safe for my guinea pigs. Oxbow makes great quality products!
Our chinchilla LOVES this toy!!
We ordered this toy for our chinchilla after seeing how much one of our bunnies enjoyed playing with it. Within a couple days, I picked it up to move it, and the whole thing completely fell apart! This was super weird to me as one of our bunnies has had this toy for awhile now and has tossed it all over the place and it’s stayed together. Chewy customer service was SO helpful and kind and they sent us a brand new one for free! Chico really appreciates everyone at Chewy! :)
Not too big of a hit with the buns
Ok, so maybe it’s because my buns are bigger than this play table? They’ve had more interest in the sisal rope on the top of the play table than any of the dangling toys. Odd. They’ve nibbled on some of the edges, but that’s about it. Maybe I’ll try this in a different environment? Just because my buns didn’t take to it doesn’t mean that it isn’t a quality toy for small pets. Great materials with animal safe construction!
Useless purchase
This was a useless purchase. After 3 months, our rabbits still will not go near it.
Poorly made
Arrived wobbly in box. Pegs don't stay in the holes. Just over all poorly made. Very unhappy with this purchase.
The Bunny Playground
Our free roam bunny absolutely loves this play table. She sits on top off it and pulls the string to bang the toys. She bit through the string on the top and now plays with the toys on the ground by chewing on them and swing them arounds. The remaining hanging toys she chews on and she chews on the wooden frame. So much better than her chewing on our furniture or wires.
