0 stars for new formula
By Minizoo on Feb 21, 2021
I've posted in the other flavors of this product we buy but the new version of this product is horrible. My guinea pig _refuses_ to eat them no matter how long they are offered or how. I contacted their customer service and while they will state the change(s) - thicker to avoid breaking in the bag and the removal of the minute amt of garlic - they seem to have no plans to address this. I don't know how/if they did any UAT but my guinea pig and seemingly many other pets do not like this new version. It should be telling that almost all the 1 star reviews for these products are recent and about the new formula. Now I need to continue my search for a replacement treat for Storm...

My Guinea Piggies LOVE These!
By TheProfessor on Jan 21, 2021
Not sure what all the complaints are about these but I’m here to tell ya, my guinea piggies love them! At first, they were skeptical at how they smelled but once they took a bite they were sold and couldn’t get enough of them! I can tell they enjoyed the awesome flavor and definitely appreciated all the nutrients they received from them. I trust Oxbow brand 100% with the health and well-being of my animals and they have always been very visible and transparent when comes to the ingredients they use in their products. Oxbow is incomparable to other brands out there. Oxbow brand labeling says it all. Every night before their bedtime my guinea piggies look forward to a different flavor. Buns don't like "change"
By BunMa on Jan 3, 2021
I bought bags of these treats ( in all flavors) for years, My house bunnies loved them. When I got my last order I saw they were thicker with a circle in the center. My older female just rubs her chin on them. She will not eat them. My male is a larger rabbit & still eats them. I emailed Oxbow & was told ingredients are the same but they made the change because of breakage in package. They are now much coarser & harder. After all these years, I will not be buying any more. Oxbow needs to know "if it isn't broke, leave it alone".

From Favorite to Trashbin - Pigs Refuse New Recipe
By CavyLover on Jan 9, 2021
Along with the Red Bell Pepper, the Cranberry flavors used to be my guinea pigs’ favorite treats. I have six of the little furballs, and I bought a LOT of these treats. No more. The new recipe is hard and apparently tastes awful as I have seen my pigs literally spit it out of their mouths Bring back old recipe.

bunny hates new formula
By Dandelion on Jan 4, 2021
My 7 year old bunny has loved these treats and ,in the past, we would go through bags of them. I usually buy 10 bags at a time to keep them on hand. She absolutely hates the new treats' formula/makeup. She will not touch them and now I am stuck with a lot of bags of these treats. Very disappointed for my bunny.

oxbow changed recipe, big mistake
By darby on Jan 1, 2021
my rabbit holly is from chicago, as am i. she compares this new oxbow treat version to deep dish and not the thin crust that she surprisingly would prefer. the treats are so much thicker and won't touch them, used to love them. she's revolted and backs away in fear! not everyone from chicago likes deep dish.

Liked very much until they changed
By BunnyServant on Dec 11, 2020
My rabbit always loved these. But when I got the last shipment the treats had changed. They are slightly larger and much thicker. It took her a day or two to get use to them but she still eats them. It takes her longer to manipulate and eat them. I used to snap the old ones in half and give her in separate pieces. I can't snap the new ones, too hard. I don't see how small animals would be able to chew them.

Not the same
By Bunmom on Dec 13, 2020
I've been purchasing the Oxbow Barley Biscuits for years. My rabbit won't eat any longer so I tried the cranberry Simple Rewards. He refused these also. Very disappointed that Oxbow changed these products. The answer I received from Oxbow didn't solve the issue.

My guinea pigs love watching hockey on television with an Oxbow snack! Actually, I think it's more about the snack than the TV. COME ON JANUARY 13TH!!!!!!!!! Finally, MEN'S sports are coming back!

Rabbit loves them.
By Purrl on Jan 28, 2021
My bunny is spoiled by too much variety in her food, and I try to find new treats to tempt her. She loves the taste and crunch
