I purchased this mat to provide my bunnies with some different activity during the day. It works really well to hid their pellets in the mat and have them "find" them. They chew the mat a little but for the most part it acts exactly as it was intended. Bonus? Cats like it too -- they scratch and rub on it!!!!
My house bun loves to dig and chew so keeping her busy and out of trouble is sometimes a challenge. The Oxbow Timothy Club large mat is big enough for her to sit on and deep enough to hide treats in. I sprinkled Naturals by Rosewood Summer Harvest on it to encourage foraging. She loved it instantly and has spent many hours playing with it. Best choice of interactive toys yet.
Keeps him busy for hours, foreges, digs, picks it up with teeth tries to go under it. Definitely good exercise. Hay smells fresh. Highly recommend
I purchased this for my two guinea pigs to enjoy when they have floor time. They are absolutely loving this! It's a great treat and they look like they're having fun with it. It is lasting a long time, too. I would see definitely purchase this again.
Maybe it's the smell or my rabbit just doesn't like these, but even with treats or sprinkling rabbit food on this (that my rabbit normally LOVES), my rabbit won't go near these.
my Angora bun love this. its lots bigger then i thought it was super happy
My rabbit won't even walk on it. We tried to hide pellets, but they just fell through to the floor. We put it in his cage for him to chew or sleep on and now he uses it to potty on. This was def a waste of money and would not purchase again.
My rabbit absolutely loves this! I hide treats and dried herbs in it and my rabbit will sit there digging at it for the longest time! My rabbit is a pretty strong chewer and this mat has actually held up really good too!
I love the idea of this, but our rabbit is only slightly taken with it. Not sure why. He forages for food in other toys but not so much with this one
I would rank this as one of BunBun’s most favorite toys! We’ll hide herb mix/pellets/ etc to encourage digging and engagement. It’s a huge hit! Makes a massive mess but keeps the bun happy!
