Oddly Foamy
By arc829 on Nov 4, 2020
This product does help loosen up debris in my dogs’ ears, and it has a nice mild scent. My only issue with it is that it foams A LOT. I squeeze a bit into my dogs’ ears, and as soon as I start rubbing their ears, the cleaner foams up and gets all over their ears and my hands. I don’t use very much, but it just bubbles so much. It’s just a little extra mess I don’t really like. I’ve started applying the cleanser to a cotton ball first and using that to apply it to their ear to keep everything less messy. Other than that though, it’s just a regular old ear cleaner.

Good stuff - been using for years.
By TrishTerrier on Jun 12, 2020
My vet insists this stuff does nothing, but my groomer recommended it several years ago for my last dog, who had terrible breath. This kept it in check. With our next (and current) dog, we used it from Day 1, and he's never had really bad breath. (We got him at age 2 when he already had some tartar on his teeth.) Is it a placebo? Who knows? But it works for us! And when we were out of it briefly, we noticed the difference. I normally buy from the groomer as she refills the bottles for me, eliminating waste, but with everything shut down, I was delighted to discover Chewy offered it. If I had a puppy, I'd start using this stuff before things got bad!

Highly Recommended By My Dog Trainer
By Holly on May 7, 2020
So my dog Charlie has sensitive ears. He's been to the vet a few times and the vet said to be sure to keep his ears very clean and gave him ear medicine (which Chewy also sells without a prescription). I was also told by my trainer (who has a team that researches products everyday) this ear cleaner was one of the best on the market and can be used as much as needed without drying the ear out.

Oxyfresh Ear Cleaner
By Nanny on Jan 28, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor
Dog doesn’t like getting his ears cleaned but I think he likes the foaming action of this ear cleaner. Especially if he gets an itchy ear, a cotton ball saturated with oxyfresh into the ear and he closes his eyes with relief. Then he waits for the other ear to get done no fighting or trying to run away. It has really helped his yeasty ears. I like this product a lot.

This stuff stinks!
By Kiko on Mar 21, 2019
Just got this bottle and immediately used it on all of 4 my dogs but won't be again. This stuff has such a strange and unpleasant odor. Gave it a few hours for it to completely dry and hoping the odor would disappear, but it is definitely lingering and just as bad. I don't want perfumes added to cover dirty ear odor. I just want a product to safely clean ears, but this stuff stinks!

The best ear cleaner
By Moosewood on Jan 12, 2019
So thrilled that chewy now sells Oxyfresh. This is the best ear cleaner to buy. Not oily. It has a foaming action that helps looses up the debris. Just massage the base of the ear then let them shake. I’m a groomer and this is what I use. Especially great for Lab ears.

Bait & Switch
By FurbabyMama on Aug 26, 2018
I ordered this product based on the Chewy description and review of the label information. I ignored the fact Chewy advertises the product as dog & cat ear cleaner when the label they have pictured clearly states "pet", lists other pet types, and even has another type of pet pictured. However, I was highly disappointed when I received the "alleged" product and it looked nothing like what is shown here. Also, the claim of removing ear mites is not on the bottle. All the information on how it supposedly works, nowhere to be found.

Very happy with this product
By BevB on Aug 10, 2018
My pug Pompey has a tendency to have a waxy buildup in his ears. After finishing a prescription medication course through my vet I needed something to use for cleaning. My pug never liked his ears cleaned, but after I cleaned the first ear he sat very still and wagged his tail! He's never done that for cleaning before. Oxyfresh really loosened up the waxy substance and it wiped off easily.
