A few months ago I noticed that my Bengal cat had some stinky breath and although he lets me groom him in many ways without much fuss (ie, cleaning his eye boogers, cleaning his butt, wiping him down with a warm wash cloth and brushing him), he refuses to let me brush his teeth. I’ve tried finger brushes with and without pet safe toothpaste and even tried a regular small headed toothbrush (which is better than the finger ones in my opinion) but still all he wanted to do was bite it or brush against it. When I looked for finger brushes I came across this gem and figured why not. He is also a cancer survivor, having been in clinical remission for 6 months, so his oral health is even more importantA few months ago I noticed that my Bengal cat had some stinky breath and although he lets me groom him in many ways without much fuss (ie, cleaning his eye boogers, cleaning his butt, wiping him down with a warm wash cloth and brushing him), he refuses to let me brush his teeth. My boy drinks a lot of water anyway but loves his water even more it seems. There is no odor and it says no flavor but there’s something about it that he likes. Anything to get pets to drink more water is great but added bonus it keeps their mouths and teeth clean. His stinky breath is a thing of the past and his well check at the vet showed no issues with some minor plaque. Considering he is just about 3 years old and I have had him 2 years with no prior cleanings, I am very happy keeping this product going for his life span.

Seems to Work

My senior cat has had gum and teeth issues for a long time but we have never been able to properly brush her teeth and her breath absolutely reeked. Like I didn’t even want her to sit on my lap because it was that bad. I put a cap full in the cat’s water dish every time I fill it up and it doesn’t have a smell and I don’t think they even know that there is something different in the water. I can definitely smell an improvement with my senior cat’s breath and I am so happy!

We tried this solution years ago when one of our cats developed dental plaque at an early age. It really works!!! Dramatically decreased plaque, so much so that our cats haven't needed their teeth cleaned in many years. And it appears to keep the water in their water fountain clean longer, too! Absolutely, highly recommend this product!

I have given this to my dog for around 3 weeks but I haven’t seen any change in her breath. I am going to continue to use it because it had most good reviews so I’m not giving up yet. She is only 5 has not soft foods only hard and a top quality food and I can’t see tarter on her teeth but her breath is awful. I have always been satisfied with chewy and all their products and service is excellent.
Helps with dental hygiene

I use this in my furbabys water. It is extremely hard to brush her teeth, though I try, I can’t get to a lot of them. Last year after her dental I thought I might lose her, she wasn’t recovering and being aCKD kitty I ended up going back in to have them administer fluids, so I know she won’t survive another cleaning.
Love his breath!

I have an old large pup, 16 yo, who can’t go under anesthesia for teeth cleaning. His teeth and breath have really deteriorated this last year and despite brushing his breath is horrific. Three days after using this, his breath is amazing! His mouth looks cleaner and fresher and even his teeth look better! Love it!

I ordered this for my 12 year old Pom. His breath had gotten very offensive and due to his age I hesitate to have him sedated for another cleaning. I have used a whole bottle of this, with no improvement in his breath. It may work for other people, but it did not work for us.

WISH my cats weren't so smart. There's no smell that I can tell but they can. Would not touch the water and none were around when I put it in! My cats love wet food and for what we've already spent on dental.....I was hoping it would work :(
Senior dogs with Plaque & Tarter

Read Reviews, decided to purchase for my senior Teddy Bear & Rescue Maltese to help with and control Plaque & Tarter. Will see what the Vet says at their next check up. Hoping this will help then to put them under anesthesia (riskier for older dogs 12 years age) to have teeth cleaned.
Breath is still beyond stinky!

I purchased this for my pup who has some seriously foul breath! I saw promising reviews but unfortunately this did not work for us. We’ve been using it daily for almost 3 months now (in addition to vet recommended dental chews) and no change. Gonna have to try something else.
