Helped slow cat tumor growth

If you are reading this, it means you are dealing with cancer in your sweet pet. I am so, so sorry and I hope things go as well as possible. When we got confirmation that the cancer had metastasized before surgery for feline mammary adenocarcinoma, we started Palladia. It took a month or two to get up to an effective level in her body but it did work to slow the tumor growth. I am grateful for the extra time this drug bought us with my sweet girl.

Toceranib Phosphate

I've been giving Palladia to my cat Tangee for rwo months. It's supposed to slow the progression of his cancer. In fact, the cancer is growing slowly, but I cannot say what it would have done without Palladia. It's a small pill. and easy to give, once you push it to the back of Tangee's mouth so he can't spot it out.

This works!

Our Boxer was 7 yrs old and diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer end of October 2020. Once he saw his oncologist in early December 2020, he was started on 80 mg of Palladia, Mondays - Wednesdays - Fridays. In 3 months' time, his tumor shrunk more than 2/3rds of its original size. He has had NO side effects whatsoever being on this chemo medication. He has been on Palladia for 18 months and is doing well, with no side effects or progression. We are now 18 months out and it's still working, so we will keep doing this medication until or if, it is no longer working. Chewy pharmacy has been easy & AWESOME to work with!

Easy refills

At the vet specialist’s office I was paying such a mark up.. here at Chewy’s had my vet specialist send in RX and have it set for auto fill. Much better in controlling expenses.

Made my dog sick

This is not a holy grail cancer treatment. It made my dog very sick, despite the vets saying it would most likely help her cancer. Her whiskers fell out and she was so lethargic and looked so uncomfortable and unhappy. I thought it was the cancer killing her but it was the medicine. We stopped giving her it and she was like a new dog, energy came back and she was happy once again. It only shrunk her tumor a tiny bit then it continued to grow. Not worth all the hype. I think it may have damaged her kidneys too. Beware!

This drug is working.

We were told by 3 different Veterinarians that our 8 yr old Standard Poodle had a couple months at best due to the aggressive cancer he has. Aurey was diagnosed with AGASACA. He has been taking Palladia for almost 2 months. He has had minimal side effects with this powerful drug. For a dog taking Palliative meds we think his quality of life is actually VERY good. If you are at all able to take this route, I am here to say, yes, give it a try. The Oncologist we went to has made a huge difference in our lives. I am hopeful that this drug will soon be back in stock through Chewy.
