Most prescriptions are delivered within 3-5 days.PancrePlus is prescribed as a digestive aid and replacement therapy for those who have exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). EPI makes it hard or impossible for the body to digest proteins, carbohydrates and fats because the pancreas isn't producing the enzymes it should. This powder should be added to regular meals to aid in normal digestion.

Like so many others, I must look for an alternative to this medication/supplement that my German Shepherd needs for the rest of his life. We started using this in November of 2022 and paid $181.79 for the 12 oz. Now the price is $289.77 in January of 2023. I found an alternative on Chewy but do not know if it will work as well. I also reached out to the company: Neogen Corporation and inquired about their reasoning for such an excessive increase. I would encourage all of you dealing with this increase to send them an email so they are aware of the impact. If possible I will update if/when they respond.
I have had this on autoship for years for my EPI dog. The product has worked great, but the price just continues to rise! This last proce increase was just outrageous! Almost $100 more than the last time I ordered! This is necessary for some animals to digest and absorb the nutrients from their food. It's a necessity, but not many people can pay the insane price for it. I have been a faithful customer and spend hundreds of dollars with chewy every month, but I will be searching elsewhere for another enzyme with a realistic price.
Yes this is the staple, “go to” product but the significant jump in price without any warning has left me, as a rescuer, scrambling to keep my rescued shepherd alive. He is a success story because of this product, and now it is priced outside of our budget. I’ve personally taken this dog from an ill 45 lbs to a healthy and happy 80 lbs, but is it fair to keep him up on this expensive product that has skyrocketed in costs overnight at the expensive of nine other rescued animals that need my financial support? This price jump has left me in a moral dilemma. I love this dog and he deserved to live a healthy life. There should be caps by the government on human and animal prescription products not to exceed more than a 15% price increase per year. That is humane.
Why do they keep upping the price? This literally has saved my dogs life, but why is it so outrageously expensive. She’s a 2 year old corgi and she went from 26 pounds to 16 pounds and now about three months later she’s almost 22 pounds! Her fur is shiny again, no more diarrhea, no more inhaling her food, she has her energy again! Such an amazing solution but it’s very expensive.
Appalling! Big Pharma in the US attacks humans and our furry family members alike when it comes to over pricing life-saving pharmaceuticals! FYI: I found Epizyme Powder for Dogs & Cats, 8-oz is a like product at a fraction of the newly overpriced PancrePlus
My dog was diagnosed with EPI a year and a half ago and in that time these enzymes have increase in price by nearly 300%. I understand inflation is driving up prices but this is absolutely insane. These work really well for my dog, but the price increase has forced me to look elsewhere for a more affordable alternative. Sad to see this brand take advantage of the fact these enzymes are a necessity for some animals to live.
I have used this product for years to help my German shepherd with EPI. Even with inflation, there is no reasonable explanation for the price of a product to double in a months time. I will be looking elsewhere for a new product.
My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis last year and this medication has been life saving for her. She will need to be on it for the rest of her life and now they just increased the 12oz from 180 to almost 300!! I will have to find another option. Also this is on autopay. Chewy didn’t notify me that there was a change, thank GOD I caught it because I needed to change shipment date
This powder has literally saved my dog’s life however it has doubled in price in the last year. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will be switching to something different from now on.
This product was prescribed by my cats vet for her EPI. She has had EPI for more than five years. I was previously using Thomas Labs, Biocase Plus capsules (which my vet approved of). It was affordable and easy to order since it didn't require a prescription. The company went out of business so the vet suggested this as his first choice (out of three options). This actually works much better than Thomas Labs -- it doesn't have the strong odor that TL had. The issue, however, is price although for my cat, I just use one scoop (the small scoop that comes with the powder) per meal, she eats three meals a day. She doesn't even detect the powder the way she did with TL. It's expensive but since I'm giving a cat dose, this does last long, I'm on my second bottle. The only other thing I miss about TL is that the Biocase had vitamin B12 included in the mix of digestive enzymes, I'll just have to find another source. I definitely would recommend this, if your vet recommends this for your EPI cat, four paws up. :)
