not 4 cups

So I bought this b/c it was microwaveable and dishwasher safe. I bought the 4-cup size but it doesn't hold 4 cups. I feed my dog a volume of 2 cups of homemade food mixed with commercial and the food is almost falling out.....I don't know if I was sent the wrong bowl or perhaps I misunderstood somehow. But I still love Chewy.

Cute but poorly painted

Loved the look of this bowl and it was the perfect size for my hound. Unfortunately now that I have washed it a few times the paint around the rim is beginning to chip off, and I'm worried about my dog ingesting it, so I won't be using it any more. Its possible I just got a single defective dish, though, so still three stars from me.

Smaller than described

Cute but small. This definitely does not hold 4 cups. I will use this as a water bowl I guess.

Great for Kittens

I bought two of these bowls to use for dry food for foster kittens. They work perfectly for that purpose. They are shorter so work well for small kittens but they definitely hold more than the "1-cup" bowls do. The design is super-cute and cheerful, too! Unfortunately, and this is a drawback I've encountered in a few other Chewy bowls, they are *not* designed to stack. As a foster parent who regularly washes and stores bowls depending on the number of fosters I have (and whether I've recently run the dishwasher), that makes these bowls a lot less useful for me. I do not understand why these companies are producing bowls that do not stack. Do they not consider storage?

Cute bowl but small

This is cute bowl but smaller than described. Two cups of water won’t fit without spilling just from dog lapping. I would recommend getting the larger size.

Bowl is great

I bought this as a water bowl for outside. One that wouldn’t get rusty and it works. Also found that it was the right size to put in a little water a sit a cat food dish to keep ants out of the food. May need another for the original purpose.

Beautiful bowls, too small.

Beautiful bowl, not for a large dog. I read the reviews after I purchased this bowl. It’s definitely small. Better for a cat or a very small dog. Unfortunately this does not work for us and will be returning.

Don't buy if you expect 4 cups

Should have read reviews before buying. Agree with other reviews saying these bowls clearly do not hold 4 cups. They only hold a little more than 2 cups of water and certainly would hold less kibble. Cannot use

Skip this bowl if you feed over 2 cups per day

Bought the biggest size available for our two adopted Great Pyrenees & the bowls that came were are too small. Two cups of kibble easily filled the bowls up even though we thought we were getting the bowls sized to accommodate up to 4 cups of kibbles. Cute bowls for smaller pups. Also, note the gray pattern that is present in addition to the polka dots, I missed catching that until they arrived.
