  • Loaded with oil

    By on

I have been feeding my shih-Tzu this flavor for the past 6 months due my little boy's stomach issues. When I ran out, I ordered two new cases (silly me). When I opened the first can of the new shipment, I spooned out over 5 tbsp. of pure oil!!! It looks like pure mush, certainly not pate as advertised. I called Chewy and they will pick up the two boxes next week. Thank you!!! I did compare the new can contents with the new one and they were so different it was uncanny!!!

  • My dog loves this food

Like other reviewers, my 8 year old Chihuahua/mix loved the other brand that stopped making their venison canned food (which I don't understand, but whatever...) My pup has IBD and his Vet prescribed that original brand and he did well on it and he loved it. But he didn't like the other proteins (duck and then white fish) that I had to switch him to when I couldn't get their venison. I found Party Animal Heavenly Venison and saw other positive reviews by people that have dogs with tummy issues. So I took a chance. I am happy to say that my pup really loves this food and he has had no stomach issues for the 2-3 weeks he has been eating it - which is a big deal because his IBD pain & discomfort Like other reviewers, my 8 year old Chihuahua/mix loved the other brand that stopped making their venison canned food (which I don't understand, but whatever...) His poop is excellent and he is maintaining his weight. So far so good & my fingers are crossed! I sometimes add some dried venison kibble or maybe a cracker because this brand is not as dense/dry as the other brand, but he still likes it plain. I hope this helps other folks who struggle with their dog's stomach problems. … more

  • So Far, So Good

    By on

So Far, So Good - I believe that is what my American Cocker Spaniel said ? Her name is "Brandi" - she has seborrhea. She is at the lovely age of 9.5 years old, having this skin problem for at least the last 2 years. Feeding her venison grain free products has helped her skin problems a LOT. I personally have NOT tasted this product myself, but Brandi seems to consume it without a problem :).

  • Amazing Food for Allergy Sufferers

    By on

My dog has been on a prescription venison/potato diet for almost 2 years and the manufacturer recently stopped making his food due to a venison shortage with their supplier. After trying a few other venison foods that he didn't tolerate well, we came across the Party Animal food. Our dog loves the taste of the food and his stomach seems happy. In addition to our great experience with the food, I had some questions about the ingredients and the team at Party Animal was easy to get a hold of and answered all of my questions before I placed my order with Chewy.

  • Golden loves it!

Our year old Golden has protein allergies but seems to be doing great with venison. She gobbles this food up! So glad to have found something she loves and that agrees with her sensitive tummy.

  • My dog loves it!

My Beagle is 13 now, and he just started having digestive problems with easily irritable stomach. I decided to change his chicken food to venison, and I chose this brand. He absolutely loves it! I mix it with boiled Arborio rice or with his dry food. Any combo goes! I am very happy with the product. P.S. Even my cat tries to steal a lick or two from my dog's plate! They share!

  • Excellent!

I am SO relieved by this product. I have 1 mini and 1 standard poodle. My Standard must eat mostly prescription grade Venison or he gets sick. my mini needs to have Limited Protein venison to equally compliment the Standard and also he too has some skin allergies and stomach sensitivities. I was giving the mini and supplementing a little extra limited protein venison to the standard using Canine Cavier. It used to be EVO but 1st, EVO stopped having Venison stock. Over the summer Canine Cavier has had issues with Venison stock so I tried this brand. Party Animal Venison and I am THRILLED! Both Dogs LOVE it! We plan on continuing with this brand even if the others come back. I believe this one is produced in the US and seems to have a good price per case. … more

This food is a real favorite of my dogs. They cannot wait for meal time and enjoy every morsel. Allergies are under better control with the grain free as well. Love it!

  • Good Stuff!

    By on Top 100 Contributor

I have been happily feeding Party Animal to my cat, and needed a canned food for my dog for our upcoming road trip. I am happy to report that albeit my pup still prefers her raw Venison, she heartily licks her bowl of Party Animal Venison clean. I wanted to see how she would like it and how her sensitive GI system would react prior to our trip. I added a bit to her meals for a couple of days and then fed her this without her raw. Zero GI issues and excellent poo with this food. Also, this food has no odor. I give it two thumbs way up for quality, likability, portability, and seamlessly easy transition. Millie gives it paws up for yummy goodness!
