    Very effective barking collar

By Michael on Sep 29, 2021

I've used a training collar in the past (the ones with the remotes for outdoor use) so my dog is already familiar with them and knows that disobedience will lead to an audio alert, vibration, or possibly a shock. This training collar in a similar way reacts to my dog's barking. You can adjust the sensitivity I've used a training collar in the past (the ones with the remotes for outdoor use) so my dog is already familiar with them and knows that disobedience will lead to an audio alert, vibration, or possibly a shock. This training collar in a similar way reacts to my dog's barking. You can adjust the sensitivity level on the collar, and once the barking is detected, the collar will sound a tone, and if barking doesn't stop, it will vibrate. You can optionally enable the shock function as well if the audio tone and vibration are not enough. To re-iterate - the shock feature can be turned off. The first time we used the barking collar and someone approached the door, my dog barked, and immediately stopped when the vibration came on. I have a 10-pound dog that is very behaved and quiet in general, but when he barks at the sound of the doorbell, that tends to irritate me very quickly. I find that this device is very effective and working as described. … more

Bark collar to end bark collars?

    By Barkcollar1 on Oct 9, 2021

So I tested this for weeks.. But my Dog doesn't usually Bark while running or jumping... He stands still and barks.. (this seems to only activate if it detects movement and barking) I literally yelled woof at it many times and it only went off during test mode. When not In test mode only super loud So I tested this for weeks.. But my Dog doesn't usually Bark while running or jumping... He stands still and barks.. (this seems to only activate if it detects movement and barking) I literally yelled woof at it many times and it only went off during test mode. When not In test mode only super loud noises like a sneeze from a person or a large box falling to the ground could activate it on its most sensitive level 3 setting. A super loud echoing clap could also make it go off once in a while. But a bark, not once. I had it on 2 and nothing activated it. Not even when I tried. On level 3 it was very hard but possible for me. But my dog not even on level 3 activated the colar even once. He barked at many people and dogs, sometimes while running at them and being held back by leash. But most of the time he doesn't move, he just barks. I have a medium 25lb pembroke corgi. He barked for 10min straight and the colar did nothing. I need a colar that activated every time he barks no matter what. It needs to be more sensitive, I don't see how this works with other dogs, my. Dog barks loud, anyone who owns a corgi knows they sound like bigger dogs. Maybe I got a lemon? Pros: Small Has 3 modes sound, vibrate, shock (with auto) Neutral: Uses AAA batteries Cons: Wasn't sensitive enough for my Dogs barks to be triggered. Improvements: If they come up with a solution and perhaps a way that makes this much more sensitive and maybe include a geo fence triggers so my dog doesn't go out of the yard or into the cat liter box, this would be great. Even a version that has a remote for manual or auto mode.  But as it stands, I can't use it and wouldn't recommend it. Their remote shock collars on the other hand are the best collars I've owned. … more
