Is there a section to include medical records or notes? My cat is asthmatic and I would like shelters to know that if she ever gets lost!

can I locate my pet from my phone with this tag?
Answer by ChewyFeb 10, 2022
The "location" is when someone finds your lost pet, they can contact you by scanning out the information. The next version will be equipped with GPS.

How do you edit the tag information if there’s a typo? It says you can edit the information anywhere any time.
Answer by ChewySep 17, 2022
Please make sure the phone screen is bright before use. Make sure that the NFC function is turned on. This function can usually be found in the "Settings" of your mobile phone. Place the mobile phone close to the NFC Tag, within about 4 centimeters. You can move the phone slightly to find the best NFC sensing area of the phone, usually in the upper part of the phone. If the induction is successful, the exclusive ID link of your tag will pop up, and you can enter the link to start editing your pet related information. If there is no induction, please scan the spare QR code on the tag to enter the website to complete the information editing. When using a mobile phone to sense, please make sure that there is no liquid on the Tag.

What is needed to scan the tag?
Answer by ChewyFeb 14, 2022
The tag is designed with a QR code that can be scanned using a smart phone.

Amazingly simple to use high tech for your pet

Ok, the item is coated metal very sturdy, and comes with a sturdy clip that is very light for a dog or cat I have mine on my rottweiler so I was looking for something sturdy. simply install an NFC ready on your phone and follow the link. the app has a lot of space for your pet's info and if your furbaby is found and scanned there is info on them and a single tap to simply call or email their owner I highly recommend this product.

I think PatPet is...

I think PatPet is writing their own reviews. This tag doesn't work and it just scans to a website that DOESN'T WORK. And most of these reviews seem fake.

Dog tag nft

Finally enough room to provide all of you furbabies info! There is even a bio section so you can list anything important that you think someone should know! Section to put all of owners information, address, email! I definitely recommend...it's just comforting to know that all of the important information is on my baby at all times ! And it only took a few minutes to set up!

ID Tag review

I like the size of the ID tag. It was just a little bigger than the name tag we had for our dog. It was super easy to set up. I think I’ll get another one for our second dog. Good piece of mind.

Peace of Mind

Came quickly and in a cute little box. Super easy setup! Love having the extra peace of mind should our dog ever get lost! Hopefully I never actually have to use it but it's nice knowing it's there and available. Comes with 2, easy to use rings (no breaking your nails!) and waterproof!

Peace of Mind

I have two dogs who are currently microchipped, but if they ever get lost, this smartID tag is a great quick way for my dogs to get back to me. Not everyone has a scanner like the police or shelters to look for the microchip. Also, if you don't want to put your personal information on a printed dog tag, this is a great alternative because someone would just have to scan the QR code instead of everyone always seeing your contact information. I would definitely recommend even as a back up method to the microchipping. You never want to be in the shoes of someone who's dog goes missing.

Peace of mind

Great product! Our puppy chewed on his engraved tag and our phone number is unrecognizable! So nice to have a replacement which contains our information. Great backup even when our little one is microchipped!

Great Paired with MicroChip

This is a great way for someone to identify a runaway pup without having ot take them into a vet to do so. Regular people don't have something to read microchips that are put in by vets, but pretty much everyone has a cell phone to scan a QR code. Great idea and great product!
