PATPET P-collar 640 1000 Yards Remote Dog Training Collar

We’ve went through a couple that didn’t phase our yellow lab puppy whose 7 months old. We’ve bought expensive ones that he didn’t even flinch on the highest setting. He has a terrible problem of not listening. We’ve only went up to a 6-7 on the 1-16 scale and it gets his FULL attention. He listens perfectly and is all around a whole new dog. We mostly just use the tone to warn him and that gets his attention. He listens so freaking well! Seriously if you’re having problems with your “puppy” listening, this is what you need! The price is cheap compared to what this shock collar can do, and you can buy a second collar to add to the same controller. I waited a few weeks before writing a review on this collar because I wanted to put it to good use before I gave a final review. With that being said, I love this dog collar! I have a 8 month older husky who I have been training recall. We want her to be able to run as much as she wants but to come in when called. With this training collar I have been able to train her so well. I haven’t ever used the shock (although I did try it on myself to see what would be an appropriate level if incase I did use it). This collar is FOOL PROOF. It is so easy to use and the batter lasts for so long. In 2 weeks I charged it ONCE. In addition, my husky loves to go in the creek by my house and the waterproof I waited a few weeks before writing a review on this collar because I wanted to put it to good use before I gave a final review. This is my favorite training collar I have purchased! I have tried several collars that only vibrated/shocked on their own without any luck. I really enjoy having the remote & the three training modes. The instructions were very clear and I had my dogs collar put together and running within a few minutes. My dog has responded so well to this training collar that she with follow my commands just by seeing me hold up the remote. I would recommend this collar to anyone who’s had trouble training their dog or any first time users as it conveniently has the 3 training levels so you can see which works best for your dog. Ordered this device to help with training my Rottweiler pup. This device has done the job just as I hoped. He usually responds immediately to just the tone. If he is really engaged sometimes the vibration is needed. I have never had to use the shock feature. Many times just saying no works too when he is wearing the collar. This device arrived quickly. Instructions and use are straight forward. It has been worn in the rain with no issues and is easy to clean. This product definitely worked for me and I would order it again.

Works well for my large Pitt/Dane. He is 4yo and has problems with his commands. He responds to the beep and vibration extremely well. We hardly ever have to use the shock. TIP: The collar needs to be fairly snug around the neck for it to make contact and work efficiently. I loosened the collar out of guilt, and found my dog to be much less responsive and the mechanism would spin to the wrong spot any time he would shake. Stay strong dog moms and dads out there, it definitely is not hurting them and does work effectively if you follow the directions provided.

I had a prior version of this collar that reached less then 300 yards, so we wanted to try an upgrade so when we take walks in our woods, we could let the dogs run a bit more. This collar is fantastic! Easy to set up (the directions are simple), and works great. We love that we can use just the noise or vibration settings and only resort to a shock (which you can set VERY low) as the last resort. Our dogs are already trained to a "noise" as we have an electric fence, but it is very simple to train dogs to use these remote collars as well. We have had our previous collar for almost 4 years (I think, it may be more!) and have never had an issue. I purchased this product for use in training my now 5-year-old German Shephard. I have used many different products as well as other collars like these in the past without success. My dog responds great to this device and I have only once had to use the shock feature. I made sure to try this on myself before putting on my dog so that I felt comfortable with the effects. At a setting of 6, I felt comfortable with the level although many higher levels remained though were not needed.

My pup is very anxious and barks nonstop outside. She gets worked up and can’t hear me when I say “quiet!”. Initially, I started with a 30ft leash to redirect her, but she caught on to that pretty quickly and was an angel on-leash but couldn’t calm down off-leash. I wanted to be careful not to make her more anxious, so I’ve only used the beep setting. It gives her an audible cue to reset. It’s only been 2 days and with consistency, it’s been night and day!!! I feel like she and I will soon both be able to relax and enjoy our yard together. This is the most versatile, affordable collar I’ve found - and believe me, I spent time looking. We love Patpet collars and customer service! They are always super helpful and their products are built to last. We have 2 Malinois on our farm and these are great for recall and correction, keeping our dogs safe and out of harms way when moose and elk are passing by when the dogs are out of reach. The dogs only need the beep or vibrate setting at this point, but having an emergency button is helpful when their urges to chase are too strong. Will always buy Patpet.

Fantastic product. I have ordered from PatPet before and have been extremely impressed. I ordered this product because I was excited to try the new long range of 1000 yards. The collar is nicely fitted and comfortable. I also like that this product has the option to use sound or vibration as another training utility. Additionally, this collar is water-proof and weather proof! My pit bull loves to run through the woods and get into all sorts of harsh environments and this collar has lasted through it all. As a result of having this collar, I can now walk my dog off-leash as she is perfectly trained and understands the commands to stay by my side.
