Is this collar suitable to use on a Dachshund?

The collar fits a neck circumference of 9.8-25 inches. It is suitable for most small, medium and large breed dogs. Pets should be at least 6 months of age and be able to recognize basic obedience commands such as "sit" and "stay".

This collar is equipped with two sizes contact points and rubber covers, short and long, as well as one pair metal sheets.
Do the silicone covers need to be removed from the metal prongs prior to using the shock feature?

It is recommended to leave the silicone on when using the collar.

Still waiting

This is a very bad product. It started to malfunction about seven days after having it the buzzer will not turn off from the collar rest of the buttons would not function correctly, either I have written to the company who produced this, trying to get some type of resolution for this product, they say they will issue me a refund within 72 hours and three weeks later I am still waiting. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Training Collar

This item requires batteries but this is a good thing because this gives longer use of the collar than the ones that must be charged. Also no long wait time for a recharge. Our dog had one small shock and after that she responds quickly to the buzzer. We have an acre lot and this collar provides complete coverage.

Pet collar

This collar is ridiculous. Every time you need it it doesn’t work. You constantly have to push the power button on the collar. You can push it, and if you haven’t used it in half an hour, you must push it again in order for it to work. So about the time you really need it, it has turned off.

Best thing ever!

I got this for my cocker spaniel so he would stop getting into so much stuff and it worked wonders!! I didn't even have to use the shock feature. The beep feature did just what I needed it to! :)
