do you have to use the metal sheets? I have a thick coated Pug.

If your dog's fur is so thick that it is hard to make the collar touch their skin, then you can use metal contact sheets. Please refer to the images from the manual.
Can these be used with pomeranians at 5lb?

This collar is recommended for dogs 15 pounds and up.
Can you controller the collars individually? We have two puppies and didn't know if you can control which collar receives the vibrations/etc.

This bundle allows you to train up to 2 dogs at once. The toggle button allows you to switch between the 2 channels and control the respective collar.
Is it waterproof

Small is NOT small.

I received the collar the day after I ordered it. That part was great. However, the "small" collar is big enough for an 80lb dog and the module attached to the collar is HUGE. I would never be able to put this on my 5lb dog. I will be returning this to Chewy ASAP. I would not recommend purchasing this if you have a small dog.

Patpet Dog Training Collar

Well, it works and works well, even though it is not my first choice to stop my girls from barking. Got this due to a barking dog ordinance where I live. Some pretty nasty rules with the ordinance, including but not limited to the death of the dog. I guess I would rather train them then watch them die. My best advice is to use this collar as little as possible. Always use positive reinforcement as soon as your dog accomplishes the desired behavior. Make sure to remove the collar right away when the potty break or a walk is finished. Make sure your dog knows that you love him or her. That's all I can say.

Best Choice I Made

My friend suggested these to me as we got our puppies at the same time and we like to walk in the woods, they have made training such an easy job. My dogs listen so well and understand their commands to the point now when they see the collars they come running over to sit in front of me they know they are going somewhere. I have had these collars for 14 months and can say my dogs wear them a lot, but have not had to use them a lot after the first week. The best thing I can say is take the time in the first week to work with them, I never thought I would use these, now won’t go anywhere without them!
