Being cordless is extremely nice but I'm unhappy with the trimming guides. One swipe and I have to remove the guide and brush out the hair. This is very time consuming when you are trying to trim down your entire dog,
I’m so disappointed with this product, after 3 months of using this product it started to sound like a lawnmower, way overpriced!!I am looking for a replacement and in the meantime has to use my husband’s clippers!! Don’t waste your money on this product!!
They are doing the job. The girls like having the hair gone. Thanks
I really WANT to love this clipper. I have had multiple problems with this though. 1) Cleaning error will not go away and the clipper shuts off after about 5 seconds. It is not resolved by cleaning, oiling, or restarting. I can only get it to work about 1:30 tries re-seating the clipper head and still can’t figure out which aspect of the seat makes it function to repeat. 2) I have had this six months and used it about 5 times and now the unit will not charge from the charging base OR using the direct charging cable. 3) Customer service is horrible via PatPet. There is no contact info on the package insert, but managed to find an email. I rarely get a reply and had to send multiple videos to show the issue and still have no resolution. For a $100 clipper I really want to love, I simply can’t due to the poor customer service and multiple issues.
I must have gotten a dud, because my experience does not match up with the other reviews. I have a poodle mix and the first time I used the clippers, they cut her hair ok, but the battery drained way before I was done grooming. The next time, I just trimmed her hind area and it worked fine. This time when I turned it on it gave me a cleaning error, so I followed the instructions and cleaned and oiled the blade, but no luck. Still getting the cleaning error.
have just started grooming my yorkies recently and I have tried several clippers. None of them made this easy to do. They were loud and I had to stop every few minutes to clean and charge them. But with these PatPet P950 everything changed!! They are quiet. They are so easy to use and do a fantastic job of clipping my babes! And they last forever before you have to recharge them!! I love the display that tells me when they need to be oiled and cleaned. No guess work!! 5 Stars is not enough! I am so excited to groom my dogs now. I highly recommend these clippers!!

I am torn as to what star rating to give this, because on the one hand it seems like a capable shaver, and it does work. But on the other hand, it is completely unusable for my purposes - I rescue feral stray cats, and I could immediately hear the reason why it won't work - the loud BEEP it makes whenever you turn it on or off, or change the speed. So, no matter how quiet the motor might be, you will still regardless get the BEEP whenever you adjust it or power on/off. Anyone who deals with feral stray cats will know that this is a non-starter. Why on earth did they do this? WHY? It is so stupid and pointless, doesn't add anything to the functionality (I mean, you already have audio cues when you change the speed, because the motor sound changes, and obviously you know when you turn it on and off). So WHY THIS STUPID LOUD BEEP. This is ostensibly made for pets, it's marketed for pets, including cats, many of whom are very skittish already to the concept of a shaver, and they don't need any more reason to be afraid of it. So stupid, so it's going back. I will give it 3 stars as a compromize, since the beep probably won't matter to some people who aren't dealing with high-strung/fearful feral kitties. So 3 stars because it does seem to work, minus two stars because I can't use it. I was pondering giving 1 star, but that seemed a little extreme, so here we are. I do note that I also have the lower model of this, the P930, which doesn't have adjustable speeds, but it doesn't beep, so it is actually the more usable clipper for my purposes, fwiw.
When I first received the clippers it took a whole day to charge. I have used it maybe 3 times and it does not want to charge anymore.
I have owned several different grooming clippers and this pair far exceeds my expectations! Great quality and is powerful. It really glides through the hair like butter. I highly recommend this clipper to anyone! Also, it's quiet compared to so many others. My Shih Tzu just sits and lets me groom away!
