I have a 45 lbs lab mix and got the medium paw plunger, I almost wish I would have gotten the small. The medium is still really big. However, it works and does the job of cleaning paws. It’s a bit awkward and my dog doesn’t love it but better than using a million wipes.

I live in a big city that uses harsh de-icer when it snows. I had a different paw washer but it was tall and slender which meant it fell over easily when I was trying to wrestle my dog's paw into it. I love that this is squat and sturdy, has a handle I can steady it with, and can be rinsed easily. I found it so useful, I bought one for a friend.

This product was recommended to me by a couple of friends and has so many great reviews here, I figured, hey, what could go wrong? For the love of God, what didn’t go wrong? Maybe this works if your dog can sit on your lap, barely moves, or loves sticking their paws into unfamiliar tight spaces, but this was an unmitigated disaster for us. Dante, who already weighs 40 pounds at six months of age, wanted absolutely nothing to do with this brilliant idea. I thought I was ready. I had filled the paw plunger with warm water and set it on a towel near the back door. When he was ready to come in, I let him just inside the door and showed him the paw plunger. I let him sniff it and lap at the water This product was recommended to me by a couple of friends and has so many great reviews here, I figured, hey, what could go wrong? Dante, who already weighs 40 pounds at six months of age, wanted absolutely nothing to do with this brilliant idea. I thought I was ready. I had filled the paw plunger with warm water and set it on a towel near the back door. When he was ready to come in, I let him just inside the door and showed him the paw plunger. I let him sniff it and lap at the water drops on the top, etc. I gently picked up one front paw and tried to slip it into the plunger and he immediately went berserk. I got the paw in and maybe completed half a plunge done before he reared back, screaming like I’d shot him with rusty bullets, and trampled farther into the house, through three rooms, over two area rugs, and onto the couch. Now everything is filthier than if I’d just let him in with his previously unmolested, muddy paws. My back is killing me. I realize now that I shouldn’t have let him in before using this, but I don’t think doing this outside would’ve made any difference. I have no idea what I’m going to do all winter long, but we both need therapy and a professional cleaning after this fiasco.… more

Barkley is a blind dog who scares easily. He also loves to play in the mud and hates the bathtub. I wasnt sure if he would fight me but he just sticks his feet in - he waits to get all 4 done - hes happy - im really happy !!

We picked this one over others because of the handle, and it was a great choice! It makes it easier to hold when your dog is trying to run off before you can clean its muddy paws. We measured our dog's paws according to their size guide and was surprised by how large this product was. However, it is easier to place a struggling dog's paws into a larger opening, so if you are between sizes, I would size up.
Gamechanger for my floor

I love this thing. My dogs come in from our yard to our playroom and I have tried everything to help control the amount of dirt and mud that they bring in the house. The Paw Plunger made all of the frustration go away. It is so easy and quick. I keep it at the back door, filled and ready so when the dogs want to come in, its a quick plunge, wipe and go!

Love these. Saves some dirt from getting into the house. Make sure you have a towel handy for drying though.

This is a game changer for me! My dog loves to run in our fenced backyard and this time of year it's frequently muddy from the snow thaw and before the new grass comes in. I used the Paw Plunger on her over the weekend and although she was hesitant at first, once I got one paw in the plunger, she was patient and allowed me to do all 4 paws quickly. I think the soft brushes inside felt good to her - like a foot massage! Once I dried her paws off, I gave her a little treat - now she's willing to do it anytime!

This cleans the pads of my lovable mutt's paws seem to soak up mud. After wiping them with a towel, he still leaves muddy prints. Dipping his feet in the Paw Plunger and pulling them out through its soft brushes really works.

Excellent, heavy duty product works as advertised. I love this! I have a poodle/wheaten terrier mix with very curly hair. She gets filthy when she goes for walks. I can dip her feet and lower legs into this and clean her right up without having to give her a full bath. A real time saver! And, though she does not love it, she puts up with it.
