I read the reviews and saw that there were a few bad ones, but chose to go with some of the good ones and an article I had read. Sure enough, straight out of the package the laser pointer feature stopped working after the first few minutes. The treat feature worked, but my cat now knows that it's coming from there so she just tried to open up the camera to get the rest of the treats out. For all this, I'd rather just get a simple camera with the two way talk feature and save the money on the laser and treat dispenser. I'm unclear of what the return policy is.
I did research and found that this would be the best for my cats when I was gone for the night. And it did not let down! My cats actually love the laser and when it sings the coming running for their treat, so I know I can always keep an eye on them. It is pricey, but if you can swing it I would say it is worth it! I do wish it held more treats, but that would be the extent of my criticism.
We couldn't get this thing to work for more than 3 minutes. We also have great internet and technical skills in our household. Waited too long to return it so a 200$ piece of electronics is going in the landfill. SAD, doesn't deserve even one star
This was the only one available a couple of years ago that let us use our own treats. Our dog has a restricted diet. What we found is the picture is just OK and the sound is awful. There is no picture at night. You can talk to your pet but it won’t sound like your voice. Not even a little. It has to be filled often.
I bought this over the summer thinking I would be able to track my cat when I was on vacation and move the camera around. The camera does not move around and it only stays on one fixed location. It also does not tell you when there is motion. I was very sad using this product and was not worth the money I had spent. :(
Definitely NOT worth the money! Poor quality, camera lags, and way too expensive. We’ve found better alternatives for way less and far better. Save yourself the hassle by NOT purchasing.
Item arrived on time and in good condition, however it was not able to be set up! The directions that came with it were very unhelpful and after 2-3 hours I decided to give up.
Absolute waste of money. Unable to set up, zero customer support options. Any of the reset prompts would not work. There is no ability to reset your password even on the app so if you happen to forget you have to reset the whole device, which breaks WiFi connection if you had it, and then leads you down a frustrating cycle of not being able to set up the device nor get any help from any of the products makers. Worst product support I’ve ever encountered. Zero support. Very frustrated at the financial lack of return on investment. I have not been able to use this once with my pet.
We recently purchased a Pawbo camera and absolutely loved being able to see our cats while not at home. Unfortunately, the kitten thought the best part of the camera was chewing on the power cable. This meant that Pawbo's life was literally cut short. We immediately reached out to Pawbo customer service to see about purchasing a new cable. We tried multiple avenues to get in touch with that company and had no success after about a week. With an upcoming trip planned, we really wanted to be able to look in on our cats. We decided to reach out to Chewy customer service to see if they might be able to put us in contact with Pawbo. To our delight, the Chewy customer service agent was very friendly, understanding, and personable. He immediately remedied our situation, alleviating lots of anxiety. We appreciate his help, as well as the willingness of Chewy to ensure customer (and pet) satisfaction.
So disappointed. Doesn’t connect what a hassle! Never had such a hard time with connection to WiFi, tried it at work just be sure. Was so excited to be able to throw treats and play with my cat remotely. Return to sender. :(
