The ring to attach a leash to is located on the dogs back, between their shoulder blades.
What size does small dog fit.

To get the most accurate size for your furry best friend, measure around your dog's neck, and your dog's chest around the widest part using the printable measuring tape on the sizing chart page (Leave room for two fingers to ensure comfort).
Then compare your measurement to the sizing chart listed on the product page. The “Size” tab, is listed next to the “Instruction” tab, just under the product photos. If your pet falls in between two sizes, we recommended purchasing the larger size.
