For hard floors only
I got several cheap silicone mats to put under my dog's water bowls around the house. This one is definitely the flimsiest-- as others have said, it will not lay entirely flat. But the bigger problem for me was that I got this to use on carpet, and it's so thin that a small (4 cup) water bowl causes it to buckle. If the dog steps on it to reach the bowl, it bunches up, though it doesn't seem like it's enough to knock the bowl over or spill it. That said, it does what I got it for, which is keep her from dribbling water in the carpet and keep the bowl stable enough that it does not spill. So, my carpet is dry, it just looks a little untidy.
Just what I was looking for
This mat has a very pleasing texture that is easy to clean, lays flat, beautiful pale aqua color, large enough to accommodate three bowls.
Cute but flimsy
This is a cute mat, but rather flimsy. I got it about a month ago and I'm still trying to smooth it out to lat flat on the ground. Still slightly rippled.
Poor quality
These mats are flimsy and will not stay in place. The description says they have a rim to keep water in place but is is non-existent. Very unhappy with these mats for what I needed.
Won't lay flat
Came rolled up like most of these things do but when unrolled it had a lot of ripples and bubbles in it. Left it laying out for a couple days, tried putting something flat on top of it. Nothing helped. Ended up donating to a shelter.
Good product, exactly what I needed
I needed a silicone mat for my dog's water bowl because he gets water everywhere when he drinks. This mat is very large and protects my hardwood floors from my very large dog's messy drinking habits. It is very thin which doesn't affect its functionality but was unexpected. It came rolled up very tightly and after a few weeks of use it is still curled a bit on one end. I love the color, it is exactly as shown.
Had higher expectations
This mat is much thinner/flimsier than I expected it to be. Everything, and I mean everything, sticks to it. I have to rinse it twice a day or it will attract hair, dust, dirt, etc. It’s a little smaller than advertised and doesn’t fit two 9in dog bowls even though it’s supposed to be 22 inches. The bowls hang over the sides of the mat, which defeats the purpose of getting the mat to keep food/water off the floor.
Not a great product
Very flimsy and got dirty super easily. When I placed it on my wood floor, my dog was able to move it around. I’m not pleased with this purchase.
messy drinker
I am so happy I purchased this for my kitty Cleo along with the cat fountain as she is messy. This keeps my floor dry.
Great (thin) Mat!
Didn't realize how thin/ flimsy this mat was, but the silicone sticks to the floor really well. It washes off easily and is the perfect size for the 3 small bowls my cat uses. The color matches the photos, as it is teal, not green
