I was very disappointed with this brush. I have a short haired tabby and I had been using a regular wire brush and I thought that this would be better especially since it looks a lot like another very popular brand brush. This brush barley got any hair at all. I get the same amount of hair off of my cat when I am petting her. I do not recommend this brush at all.
I have needed one of these for years. Really didn't know what they were or how to get one. This is working great for my little long-haired fuzzy baby.
This is the second one I have of these. I like them so much as they are very easy to handle with my hands with carpal tunnel. My cat loves to be combed with it. Very pleased with them.
My cat loved it. Best shedding brush for cats and dogs.
Does not work well, would not recommend. My cats are short hair and this simply does not work on them. Not worth the effort.
I recently recommended this brush to a friend. I’ve used it for 2 years now, both on my extremely fluffy Maine Coon and on my pit-lab mix. It works great to capture the cat’s fine fur and the dog’s shorter, more coarse fur. Also works great on small carpeted areas and the fabric parts of the cat tree. It’s held up great for 2 years and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if needed
I bought this for my longhaired cat and results were underwhelming, it removed maybe a tenth of the hair the furminator removes. I tried it on my rat terrier and it was a complete fail. The brush was relegated to the junk drawer until I heard one of our feral cats coughing up a hairball and decided to try to brush the poor guy and OMG THIS BRUSH IS AMAZING, it removed a literal mountain of hair from our Siamese mix and several handfuls from his brother and sister. They all love the brush, it's not that great for the super silky guys or the ones with really coarse hair but it's wonderful for short and medium haired cats with dense fur or lots of underfloof.
The deshedding tool works great on my cats undercoat. He no longer has dandruff. And he loves when I comb him with it. I would recommend.
Great brush in the first 5 minutes I collected a large amount of fur and Louis not only loved the attention he felt super soft afterwards and I own my own house call pet grooming for 12yrs now and have tried a lot of different brushes in my 24yrs experience, HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will be sharing on my Facebook page personal and business page :)
This works wonderfully in removing the down undercoat of my one cat, so if the undercoat shedding is your issue, this is a great tool. But my main problem is the shedding fur of the topcoat. My second cat has this problem and this tool removes very little of the topcoat, almost none. There is also the problem that my cat doesn't enjoy being combed by the hard metal. He'd much rather I use my dampened hand rubbed against his back. That does a wonderful job of removing excess fur.
