Description

The Rechargeable Remote Dog Training Collar from Paws & Pals features three different ways to correct your pup. First, the beeping mode can be used as a way to interrupt your dog’s undesired behaviors like barking or being destructive. If the sound isn’t sufficient to distract him, the vibration mode features 100 levels of intensity to redirect your dog’s attention to the gentle buzz of the collar. As a third option, this collar also features a safe static-shock mode that can be used as a last resort if your buddy is putting himself in harm’s way.

    Has Worked Great for Me

By FriendlyHooligan on Sep 1, 2020

I bought mine October 2019 and it's now September 2020. Works great with my german shepherd! When I very first got it, I thought it didn't work, as my dog gave zero reaction no matter the setting. I quickly realized it was 1) user error (follow the instructions!), and 2) not holding the button down. If you do a quick press, it often won't trigger. You have to hold it for half a second. And, yes, the remote will go to "sleep" to conserve battery. Just a quick press of the "mode" button will wake it right back up and be ready for use! This has been an amazing training tool! And sooo inexpensive compared to other collars. And since he's gone to the dog park beach at our local lake, I I bought mine October 2019 and it's now September 2020. My dog is amazing off leash now, listens so well, and always comes when called (with or without the collar on). The collar is now used as "back up" when he comes with me to work, but I almost never need it any more. … more

    By Mike5134 on Apr 30, 2020

Was very excited to started training my dog. Worked great the very first day but the next day my dog got into the pool and it no longer works even though it claims to be waterproof. Very unsatisfied with this purchase.

    Does not work

By NalasMom on Feb 18, 2020

I do not recommend. Does not work even a little. I have friends that use something similar and had great success so I am not sure if it is just this brand but it was a waste of money. Too expensive not to work. Used it for two days with no results and now it sits in a drawer.

    Money wasted

By VaDogOwner on Jan 16, 2020

We charged both the receiver and transmitter at the same time. That is the only good thing about this. The cheap plastic collar broke in a matter of days and it goes to sleep in a matter of minutes so it becomes useless withing 20 minutes of putting it on.

    ok but not great

By boxermom on Nov 24, 2019

All functions work (sound, vibrate, and shock) but the remote goes to sleep quickly and has to be woke up to see what setting it is on then press for the function activation, BUT the collar also falls asleep after 20 min of activity so has to be reactivated before anything will work. Also, one dog is 80lbs and the puppy is about 30 and both are on the high end for vibrate and shock before they do anything more than look around for a bug bothering them. So, a good cheap cersion if you want to try out the shock collar method but be aware of the limitations. PROS: Charger works on collar and remote, even simultaneously and it is easy to assemble. Fits most size necks. Doesn't deserve even one star

    By LAV87 on Oct 30, 2019

I should have read the review before purchasing. This collar only does the noise and vibrating is sporadic. Do not waste your money. This will be getting returned.
