Awesome Booties
My human mom has been buying these booties for me for many yrs because I am prone to allergies. I love them, they stay on during my walks, and my paws are protected. My mom and dad need to teamwork to put them on because I am a stinker. I love my booties and walk with them without any issues. Thank you Chewy for making them available for me! - Louis, 15 yr old poodle terrier mix.
These actually work
They look like little balloons but they stay on well. They are also re-usable. If you have a dog who chews on things this might not be the right item for you as it could cause problems if the dog swallows them. This isn’t a problem for my dog, who now has an easier time getting up from my wood flooring.
It fits and should stay on paws comfortably
I gave 5 stars because Fits well and doggie had no problem walking on these. The rear paws need a different size (one size down). But I am not sure how much these would help my doggie on a cold snow/icy day. I am also not sure if these can prevent precious paws from an over heated ground surface on a hot summer day. But these may prevent paws from toxins, chemicals and contaminations. Or these may be saved for first aid. We have not really needed to use these and i am not sure if we will ever use them.they are definitely not for a daily use. It’s only natural and good for dogs walk on their bare paws unless some very rare conditions or situation.
Too small!!!!!!
Can’t recommend them because I couldn’t even get them on her. I know that I can’t return these BUT they’re TOO small for my dog! Anyone want a free set of booties?
Fantastic Booties
Buddy & Mindy are in NY with below zero temps, we cannot walk more than a few minutes without freezing their feet if they have bare feet - these booties are excellent and worked better than I thought! We can take long pottie walks now and the snow and cold does not affect their feet at all! I would choose 10 stars if possible! We bought more for future trips! Definitely a must in this cold weather territory!
need in between size
I have a small dog and ordered those in the XS. Because of the dew claws, they did not fit him. I contacted Chewy and they sent me the next size up which is a S size. The S are big for him. They slip down during the walk and he would either trip over those boots or the boots would come off. I think in between size would have been perfect. Chewy customer service was great; however, I cannot speak the same for the product.
too big and too small
I really debated on getting these after all the reviews but decided to give it a shot. I followed the measurements and went with the large because my dog was right in between medium and large. When I got them, I immediately thought I should’ve gotten medium. The foot covering was wayyyy to big on her. But then I saw how tight the opening was and realized that even medium wouldn’t have been better because the opening would most likely cut off her circulation (it’s already way too tight on her with the large. It’s just an awkward product and does not fit well at all. I’m very disappointed Chewy would continue to carry a produce after it has clearly failed so many buyers.
Poor fit, Not Great for Circulation
My pittie needed booties for our family home's hardwood floors and the yard. These originally seemed best, but I bought the appropriate size by the charts and the bands ended up actually cutting into his legs, even while only wearing them ~10 mins at a time.
Unable to use
These were so disappointing. They literally look like uninflated balloons! There is no way you can pull open the opening to fit your dogs paws in there without snapping back & hurting them. I couldn’t even open it without snapping it on my own fingers & it HURTS A LOT!
Hard to Size
Ordered tiny, then xx-small for a Cairn Terrier based on the paw length chart, but neither fitted over her feet, so I will have to reorder. I realize the boots should be tight around the ankles, however, there should be some guidance on sizing for the dog’s ankles. So far, Chewy has been great about sending a new set.
