    works great for protecting paw injuries

    I bought these because my dog is healing a chronic wound on his paw. I had it bandaged for a while, so I didn’t need these at that time, but then it came to the point where it was better to leave it unbandaged but still keep it clean. I put one of these on his paw when I take him out to go potty to keep I bought these because my dog is healing a chronic wound on his paw. I had it bandaged for a while, so I didn’t need these at that time, but then it came to the point where it was better to leave it unbandaged but still keep it clean. I put one of these on his paw when I take him out to go potty to keep dirt and debris out of the wound. They stay on long enough to do the job and are waterproof so they work great for wet grass, mud, and shallow puddles. I would not recommend leaving them on for more than a few minutes at a time because they are a little tight (which is necessary for them to stay on), so they may restrict blood flow. Also, obviously you will need to keep your dog’s nails trimmed because they are made of rubber so sharp nails will puncture them (I have always kept my dog’s nails short so this hasn’t been an issue for me). I don’t think these would work for long walks because they do start to slip down after a while. … more

    I have a yorkie so I got the yellow. Let me tell you, these are the hardest things I’ve ever tried to get on my dog. And she wears a diapers, shirts, you name it with no problem. These are basically balloons for their feet. The opening only opens up to so far and it was hurting my hand to try to stretch I have a yorkie so I got the yellow. The opening only opens up to so far and it was hurting my hand to try to stretch them out. I tried for over 15 minutes with no luck. She sat there so patiently but they weren’t happening. Maybe she needs a bigger size but her paw is tiny. The problem is getting them open to go onto her paw. Gonna spend the few extra dollars on shoes with straps. These are very difficult. … more
