I bought these for my dog who is having some allergy issues and I'd obsessively licking her paws which is bad when there is medication on them. I followed the measurement guides and was happy with the fit (in the photo you can see they are not tight at all). I put them on her to wear at night because that's when she's not up moving around and will just sleep while the medicine soaks in without her ingesting it however things didn't go as planned. About 3 hours after going to bed she starts whining so I let her out to the bathroom, check her water, and tell her to go back to bed. An hour later she starts whining again and not wanting to get up so I decided to start checking on her and realize I bought these for my dog who is having some allergy issues and I'd obsessively licking her paws which is bad when there is medication on them. I immediately ripped them off her and just massaged her paws while apologizing and trying not to cry because I felt so bad. The "boots" did to her paws what a rubber band wrapped around your finger or wrist would do. There wasn't a warning on the box or online anywhere about this being a possible issue but now that I know this is an issue I won't ever use them again. With that said, the material is an interesting thick plastic that I don't now how to describe but feels very light yet strong. The only way I would use these is if a paw is bandaged up and has lots of padding to help offset the pressure from the the top of the boots. The 3 stars are because they are a nice material that felt strong plus it is an affordable price.… more
Saved the weekend!

I really like these shoes they did the job but they are hard to put on by yourself because they fit so snug at the top and with my wide English bulldogs feet I was afraid of hurting him. I would have given these a 5 star but they are not breathable so your pets feet sweat and living in Arizona their paws really sweat (I got these to protect my dogs feet from the cinders in Williams, AZ. during the summer) and dogs cool through their paws.

We rescued a Rottie, who had been a street dog for a while. The pads on her front feet are cracked and they bother her at times. After seeing these, we picked up the black X-LG. They fit her great, and now she can walk in the grass and on pavement in comfort. Definitely worth the price.

We measures 2.5 for our boxer. Accidentally ordered a 5 an they fit him perfect. We got them to avoid wet grass as he breaks out. They go on easily. Just make sure to tighten them.
Booties for buddy

They're cute, got the large ones. Very difficult and unable to get on. They're like a thick balloon. Need to try and find a different kind, one that is easier to get on. May if buddy was used to wearing boots, it would of worked.

Bought them to put cream on my dogs itchy feet. They were fine Until she ran on the grass then 1 ripped. They are waterproof and good for what i needed them for. But they aren't that durable like the description paints them to be.
great for the AZ heat!

Bought these for when we go on vacation to the river. The temp out there can easily reach 115 and we know that the ground is way too hot for our pup to walk on. They worked great and he really didn't seem to mind them. When her gets in the water or starts his hole digging we pop them off so they don't tear and are able to put them on quite easily when its time to walk on the hot surface. SO worth the price! (benelli is a great dane puppy 6mo. weighing about 85lbs) XL fit perfect with a little room to grow.
Can't imagine a winter without these!

I have to use these on my pit mix otherwise there are no walks while salt is used on roads and sidewalks. I buy XL which is too big but easier to get them on, there is a learning curve for you and your dog but so worth it. He doesn't slip any more than my other dog - who doesn't need footwear. One pair lasts a week for us.
Basically balloons for your dog's feet
on Jan 5, 2018
While these "boots" are waterproof, they look and feel just like little balloons. You have to stretch them uncomfortably over the paw while trying not to snag them on any nails. They do keep the dog's feet dry, but they might be more work than they are worth. It does come with 3 sets of balloon boots.
No thank you to these

My dog hates them. They're uncomfortable to put on. They're uncomfortable to wear. It's literally like putting a balloon on your dogs foot. They come off easily and by the time you realize it came off, it's gone forever. If you really HAVE to have something to protect your dog from getting wet paws, they work, but not well.
