I was so excited about this since it wouldn’t leave anything on her paws but it didn’t work. First try was a black blob, second try didn’t go well either. I tried having her step on it and tried pushing her paw into it. Both ways didn’t work well, the card was just a blob or a mess. Wish there were better directions, like a video of a dog doing it the correct way.
This thing just does not work. I tried this as many times as I could before the ink stopped working. My cat is only 3 months old and not big at all, so weight and size had nothing to do with it. I see from the other reviews that some people were successful. I wonder if the issue is the ink pad itself. It's your choice if you want to purchase this and see if you get lucky with a good ink pad. Chewy was great about it and refunded my purchase. I'll always come back to Chewy for their great customer service.
I thought it was very easy to use, would recommend doing it on a hard surface and having treats on hand. I've got a 1 year old pup who did SO good - I got about 4-5 prints out before I was happy but it was very simple to just keep trying and got some extra paper on hand.
This has been the best purchase we have made. It’s been used for a few years now and took a beating when we moved. Came here to order another one and leave a review! We’ve used this for every card we’ve shard with each other. Very cool product and mess free!!
We used these as part of a ceremony at our wedding and they worked so well! Our dogs hate having their feet touched or anything applied to their feet but they didn’t mind these at all because they’re no-mess!! I just recommend getting some extras so you can do a trial run to see how much pressure to apply. I just had someone hold my pups and gently pressed their paw down onto the pad on a table top.
There are no useful instructions included with the product just three vague photos on the back. If you google the product there is video instructions, but there just as vague. I followed the crappy photos on the back of the package and pressed my dogs foot into the pad like shown. And ended up with a black blob. I bought three kits (3 ink pads and 6 cards) and was never able to get one to produce a decent dog paw print that I could use. What a waste of money. I would give this product a zero if I could.
Pretty good product. Definitely definitely tape the card to the ink pad. Makes it much easier. These are the only instructions. But it’s easy. Once you take the cards out. Lay them on the ground after you tape it to the ink pad. And press the animals paw down. I do wish it came with extra cards for practice. But it’s a good product.
Super simple and easy to use! it’s nice that it doesn’t get ink anywhere but the results were absolutely disappointing. i would understand if it was the owners fault for doing it wrong or the dog wasn’t still but i did it 4 TIMES with my dog still and i was in full control but the ink didn’t smudge right and was never a complete paw print. if it the ink was a better quality and not as dry or thin i think i would give 5 stars :(
I bought two of these in the hopes of making some cute paw prints and maybe nose prints of my pup but I couldn’t get it to work. Maybe because he is quite small and wiggly, I had trouble getting enough pressure from his paw onto the pad to form an actual paw print. (Never mind the nose prints, those didn’t work either) I made a mess out of every paper and just created a bunch of ink blotches. It was fun to try though! Would probably work much better with a larger dog!
This product , does not work . I was super disappointed and the instructions are very unclear
