I adopted a family of raccoons a few years ago. Since then several other families showed up . I've enjoyed watching them grow up from tiny babies. They are so cute sitting on my back porch, waiting for me to serve dinner . They love Pedigree chicken and vegetable . I've tried to feed them a few other brands and flavors but they wouldn't eat them .when my local stores quit selling their food I found it at chewy for a good price . My babies are happy again, and all is well with our world . I lost my female Maltese ( Buffy ) last may and my coon kids have helped me through this . I've been a Chewy fan for years , they are the best .
I received a coupon in the mail.. yes I have a dog..so I thought I'll check it out..I signed in the dog food that I always have bought for my dog was the SAME price as the store I always get food from..it said free shipping! WHAT! So I purchased the 1 bag..then was reading further could get 35% off if I signed up for auto delivery and a 49.00 order..So I added another bag (88 lbs) whoa! Then used my coupon from the mail. I got TWO bags of dog food for less than 1 bag AND free shipping..I said let's DO it! Then the next morning before I was barely out of bed it was on my porch! Happy Happy Happy!
One of our dogs has had recurring chronic ear infections since we switched to this food, but the other is fine. We're going to try switching to a different brand and see if that helps clear it up since food can be linked to ear infections.
I have not had my dog long (adopted her from a shelter) but when we started giving this to her she started getting diarrhea. We tried mixing it with the wet food (same brand) and she eats the wet and spits out the dry. I'm guessing we're going to have to try a different brand.
It did not smell great, but had no idea it was going to make my girl so sick. She had it coming out both ends. I thought she had gotten into something, but also switched her food back to the old stuff. After she was feeling better, tried the food again in just a half dose and she got sick again. I had to throw out eighty dollars worth of food.
Have used this food for my 90 pound Lab/shepherd and 11 pound doxy for 10 years. I am happy with Pedigree and dogs love it. Price keeps rising though, along with everything else.
I have ordered from chewy for a long time. My dogs love this food. It is getting very difficult to find pet food at our supermarket and the small stores carry off brands. Thank you for being here. Have a little problem getting fed ex to deliver to my house because I live in a rural area that does not get ground delivery in the winter time. Chewy has allowed me to get delivery at a friends.
We've gone through so many different dog foods and just like wine you can spend $80 and get a crappy bottle or spend $10 and its amazing. Our dog is super picky and we got tired of spending big bucks on high end food only for him to turn his nose. We came to a point and said were never spending more than $1 per pound for dog food. Pedegree was on the list when we filtered our search through Chewy's website. . Our dog seems to like it and a month into it he has not turned his nose. The food seems to digest well for his little body and he still has crazy energy so we are thinking this food may be the best bang for the buck.
My personal dogs love this kibble, however, this was purchased for my local animal shelter who was in terrible need of food. I knew if my girls loved it, so would the fur babies at Dent County Animal Welfare Services (DCAWS).
Food arrived with a hole in the bottom of the bag. I don't know if it was scraped on concrete, if a mouse did it, or if there's bugs in it. I emailed customer service and haven't heard back yet.
