The best part of my dogs’ day!
I switched to this brand when their regular dental treats were discontinued, and I was a little worried that they wouldn’t enjoy them as much. But my only issue is that they need to be broken apart, and my dogs barely have patience for that! I don’t really know how much they do for their teeth, but they certainly enjoy them.
Smells Terrible & Made My Dogs Sick
My dogs have enjoyed the beef flavor, as well as the mint flavor Dentastix, but this Chicken-flavored is a no-go. A strong urine-like odor assaulted me when I opened the bag. I hesitated, but still gave one each to my goldendoodle & labradoodle, who refused to gobble them up as they normally would the other flavors. They did end up consuming it at some point but both got diarrhea the next morning. I didn’t contribute the upset GI to the new treats, yet, until after trying them the third time, and they consistently got diarrhea and I am absolutely done with this. I hope to get a refund as I ordered many packs of these due to the high rating. I’m not sure if I just got a bad batch but I’m not risking anymore to find out.

I was surprised that my smaller dog really enjoyed holding it between his paws to eat. He absolutely loves these.

I have always gotten beef. She likes them but she is a very fussy eater. I will continue to mix them with the beef dental treats. Thanks for offering a variety.
The Good Ones
We buy these Dentastix to help keep our dogs healthy. After shopping around we found them at Chewy for a good price and quick shipping. The boys love them! We only give them one a day but they'd love to have more. They seem to help us avoid teeth cleanings at the vet. Our old guy, 16, has decent teeth. Younger 7 year old has never had a cleaning and his teeth look good too.

We have a Boxer and a Poodle so I order the large and small dog sizes of these. They both know that after their dinner they get their Dentastix treat, every night. They love these! It’s like they’re getting their teeth cleaned every night.
