Just discovered these new puppy dent chews for Ren, my 3yr old, 9.5 lb Chorkie. Been buying Pedigrees original for small breed for several yrs...had been his fav(refuses anything w mint) , he likes a brand w joint supplements from Chewy ..but these r his new favorite ( we call them " bone bones".) one a day after potty time and he is a happy boy They are still very firm just as the reg Dent Stix and serve the same dental cleansing... Give them a go and ur small pups and dogs will thank u

  • Softer than expected

    By on

My puppy is a toy so this was the perfect size. I had hoped it would last a bit longer for teething but being a bit softer, I was able to easily break them into smaller pieces to use as an extra treat for a dooty outside reward during potty training. She loves them, wants to earn the reward and has no idea she's getting her teeth cleaned. I'd love to see a bulk package of them.

  • Too small!

    By on

I thought these would be good for my golden retriever puppy however they are extremely small...like toy breed size small. I wish they came in different sizes for puppies because not all breeds are the same. I actually couldn't even give her any and since I had opened them I couldn't donate them either. Waste of money unfortunately

  • He Loves Them

    By on

Our puppy loves these! This is usually the treat he gets for going in the crate when we're leaving him to go to work. I bought the puppy ones because he's a puppy, but he can inhale this thing in under 5 minutes. He'll probably be graduating to larger ones sooner rather than later.

  • Not a fan of these dental treats

    By on

Too short and they seem to give my puppy diarrhea. I tried these to give my puppy something different than what I usually give him, but I won't be using them anymore. I personlly prefer the "Get Naked" brand of puppy dental sticks.

  • Ok for the price

    By on

Don't think it helps their teeth and does not freshen breath but my puppies enjoy them and finish them each time I give it to them. Price is cheap so it's good

  • Akita/Poodle Mix loves them!

They’re more like a treat than a chew for our boy, but nonetheless he loves them! He’s a solid 20 pound puppy and they work good for him.

  • Dog treats

My dog Zee loves these chicken treats. They discontinued them in my grocery store so I was very happy when I saw them available on Chewy. Thank you!

  • Kind of disappointed.

    By on

I had previously bought the mint adult Dentastix for my Yorkie and he loved them. But later I decided I should buy him the puppy formula because his teeth became a little more sensitive since he was teething. I would have figured that the puppy formula would have been softer but I was wrong. I had to get a refund because they were too hard for him to finish. He'd end up just leaving them. I'll probably end up repurchasing the mint flavor once his adult teeth grow in and he's not so sensitive. I'm sure if your pup's teeth aren't sensitive the product should be fine. These just didn't work out for me.

  • 6 months and older!

    By on

I understand it says on the box (in small writing in the corner,) 6 months and older, but in huge writing it says 'Puppy'! Without zooming into the corner of this package, I missed that and bought these for my 4 month old lab pup. 'Puppy' to most of the world means from when they are born, to 9 months for small breeds, and 15 months for large breeds. I guess ill be waiting 2 months in order to give these to my puppy. But since shes a lab, by that time she'll be able to eat these super quick, since they are small.
