Order a size larger
We ordered this bed in size large for our 70 lb lab. The product recommendations suggested the size based upon weight. When it arrived yesterday we quickly realized that we should have ordered an XL. Be aware that the bolsters are stiff and confine the boundaries of the bed ... I would recommend sizing up if your dog likes to flop out of the bed or stretch out as ours does. We ended up returning the bed and will shop for something else. To add though, the overall quality of the bed is very high.
Beautifully Made & High Quality
I have never splurged this much on a dog bed, nor was I planning to, but I was not finding anything that fit the aesthetic I was going for that also appeared to be quality made. After looking at dozens of beds and reviews, I went with this one and was pleasantly surprised. I noticed with many cheaper beds that the customer photos usually showed a less plump/fluffy bed compared to the product photos, but right out of the box this bed matched the stock photos. The bottom of the bed is a soft foam which coupled with the removable reversible pad provides plenty of cushioning. My picky GSD took to this bed right away. I was between a large and XL and am definitely glad I sized up - anything smaller would not have worked. You definitely see a difference after the hair and slobber marks build up, but this bed was easy to vacuum and a damp rag easily removes the slobber stains. My pup loves this bed as much as the couch!
Bogart's California King
Our dog Bogart (a terrier mix) has already gone through two beds, so I was hoping this was a tough and sturdy bed. It is well made and the plaid is a great color. The bottom of the bed is solid and there's plenty of room for him. We call it his "California King"!
Love dog bed
This is our second Pendleton cuddler dog bed. We adopted a second dog and had to get a second, larger bed. The first bed is over a hear old and still looks brand new. I have washed it and it washes beautifully. Worth every penny.
Cozy Dogs!!
My dogs love this soft, poofy bed. It looks nicer in the living room than other beds as well.
