Keeps fluctuating the temp!!!

I have 7 fish tanks of various sizes. This heater is the only one I have ever had a problem with. First it was fine, but when I tried to adjust the temp by 2 degrees- it warmed up instead of cooling off. I adjusted the temp down, waited a bit and reset. It was good for a few days. Then it went up by 5 degrees!! Too hot!!!! I cleaned it, reset it. Last night it dropped the temp by 10 degrees!!!! My fish fry were almost way too cold!!! I do NOT recommend this product! I will replace with a more stable item as I do not want all my fish to die from these wild temperatures in the tank.

Keep Looking

Had this heater for a little over two months. Not a fan of the turn knob to set the temperature which makes it very difficult to see especially if it has to go horizontally in your tank. It always ran 2-4 degrees colder than the tank thermometer read. Started having issues one day where it would increase temperature by its self, it was set at 79, and heater read 86, thermometer read 88. Turned it off, adapted my water back to normal and made sure it was set to 78 prior to turning it back on, everything was fine. Came down the next day to the heater reading 99, and my thermometer reading 90. Disappointed it lasted a little over 2 months, maybe I got a defective one, but not willing to take another chance with my fish.
