Cracked, but mostly functional
I bought this on sale and was really excited to have gotten a decent deal on it. The design is functional and attractive. I was disappointed, however, to find upon arrival of my order, that the catch tray was cracked throughout the length of it. As in, see straight through it cracked. I could understand it being overlooked had the flaw been smaller, but it's pretty bad. It's not going to catch all the bird droppings with a crack that large. Had it not been damaged, I would have given it 5 stars.
THE TREE BIRD PERCH IS PERFECT
I bought the large tree bird perch . It went together Easley , it was clean no dust. I put coconut oil on the perch to season it & my Loda is 71 yrs olds she loves its. I changed the feeding cups to the clamp on ones & it gives her more room.
Great stand for larger birds (Macaw and Large Cockatoo)
I bought this stand for my rescue Scarlet macaw and Moluccan cockatoo. It is a great size for them, especially the top "T" perch. And I like that it is natural and sturdy.
Great quality stand for conures or smaller birds
This is a great stand for my conures when I want them to spend time outside the cage. Great quality wood too
OK Perch Not Hreat
The perch seems sturdy and was easy to put together. My only problem with it is that the base is too small to catch the mess from whatever food item he’s got in the cups. If the base was bigger there would be less to clean up on the floor.
Black dust coating
I was excited to get this perch for my bird. It was easy to assemble but my hands were covered with a black dusty coating. Checking the label I see that it is made I’m China and I don’t feel comfortable in giving this to my cockatiel. I’m wondering if the black coating is coming from the perch being torched? The perch looks like it has been torched. Even so, given birds are sensitive to dust and smoke, I just don’t find this safe for my cockatiel. I will be returning.
