To get the most accurate size collar for your furry best friend, measure the center of their neck a with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pup’s neck.
We recommend if you have a toy breed or small dog, add an inch to the neck measurement. For medium and large dogs, add two inches to the neck measurement.

This collar comes with written instructions that just tell you to watch the two included DVDs several times. Are they available online? Nope! There aren’t even basic fit instructions or instructions on how to remove or replace the extra prongs that are included with the collar. Returning if I can. Annoyed about the waste of money.
The nylon overwrap on one frayed and the cord protruded within a few weeks. Our dogs still pull even with strong correction. Buy a good prong collar and save your sanity and money.
These training collars are so hard to find. Not quite a prong collar but no less effective for correction. Happy to find one on Chewy!
nice alternative to the steel prong collar which looks a bit menacing even if it is a great tool in the right hands. This collar is just perfect for my American Staffordshire female. She is already very well behaved but almost yanked me off my feet going back to our vehicle after a Vet visit while wearing her regular Martingale collar. She could have hurt me and gotten herself run over by other vehicles if she had succeeded. This collar adds a nice level of control and is nice looking.
I thought 3 training leads were included because I watched the video.
Ordered this collar to use at the beach with my dog. Love that it did well in the salt water and love that it does not look as crewel as a prong collar.
Collaris sturdy, easy to used. effective.
I have been training dogs for a few decades. My newest pup is enrolled in a class with a master trainer and we live in a new state sine my last round of training. She highly recommended the small size of this collar and let us use one during the first class. Mind you, I have been using the traditional metal pinch collars for years on golden retrievers. She was adamant about the small size as you can add links or take away link, but it provides better control than the large which has bigger links. When I went home and had to practice with my traditional collar, it wasn’t going well. I ordered this one in small for my golden retriever. It sits high on her neck, just under her jaw and stays put with a lot less sliding while we practice. It has made a huge difference in our success. I can’t recommend it enough. I did not watch the included video, just have gone off the instructions of my trainer. She used to train and handle police K9s and is amazing. If used properly (and with a short tether to the flat collar as a back up), I think anyone can be successful with this collar. I am converted!!! Already bought one for my second dog as well.
I have a 50 lb yellow lab and I can't find anything That will keep her from pulling. This did take care of a little bit of it. It does better than anything else I've used. She is just a puller Even a pinch collar won't help but this does work better than anything else
