When transitioning to a new pet food, do it so slowly over a period of about 10 days, mixing an increasing amount of new food with old food each day: Start with 75% old food mixed with 25% new food for approximately three days. Then mix 50% old with 50% new for approximately 3 days. Then begin mixing 25% old with 75% new for 3 days and finally 100% new on day 10.

I finally found a pet food that is perfect for my 12 year old dog. With the many medical issues that she has... we have been going through many types of food, wet and dry. Since she is a very finicky eater, the ingredients in this food has been the diet solution to her ills.
