Cheap Plastic Chain
Perky Pet, why change a perfect feeder? For four years, we flipped this feeder upside down so racoons couldn't access the jelly. Last week I left the almost-empty feeder on the patio table so the racoon could clean out the jar. The racoon knocked the feeder off the table and lodged one of the chains between the slats in our deck. I yanked too hard and damaged the chain. I hopped on Chewy and ordered this feeder thinking it would be the same. Chewy delivery was fast (arrived a day early!) and the feeder was undamaged. When I saw the new plastic chain, I knew the weak material wouldn't tolerate the flipping at night. The photo below includes the new (but certainly NOT improved) plastic chain; the chain on the right is the metal chain shown in the product image that you will NOT receive.
Oriole jelly bird feeder
So easy to use. The orioles love them. I’ve used them for a couple of years now but had to replace them this year. So glad Chewy.com carries them.

This works great and I don't have to refill it constantly. Have some really happy birds.
Disappointed
I know it has a gravity feed but I had a pool of jelly slopping over the tray in a matter of hours. Maybe I have more gravity where I live.
only took 5 minutes for the Orioles to feast on it
Well made easy to clean ~ sturdy! My only complaint, the feeder was in a huge box ~ I mean huge6 times larger then the product, and no packing paper at all.
Excellent Oriole Feeder!
If you use a shorter jelly jar, this feeder works awesome. I am still using the one I bought last year. Buying another for my mother in laws birthday gift.
Tips over easily.
Threw it away because it tipped every time spilling the jelly. Not worth not only the money but the continued effort to make it work.
