Description

Perky-Pet Panorama Wild Bird Feeder is sure to attract many birds to your backyard. The innovative design of this feeder allows the seed to dispense into the trays and it stops dispensing once the trays are full. As the birds continue to dine from the two-tier circular perches, the seed is replenished into the trays separately so they remain consistently full. Compartments can even be filled with two different types of seed, attracting a larger variety of birds. This feeder features the proprietary Sure-Lock cap system, an exclusive squirrel-proof feature which ensures the lid stays put and squirrels can’t get into the seed. Perky-Pet Panorama Wild Bird Feeder holds 4.5 pounds of seed and features a rustic brown finish.

FAQ

Birds at my feeder look sick, what should I do?

The best thing to do is to stop feeding the birds temporarily. Remove the feeders and throw out all of the seed. Thoroughly wash your feeders. Remove all debris from under your feeder. Do not touch the sick birds. Refill all of your feeders and resume feeding.

How do I prevent seeds from sprouting under my feeder?

You will need to sterilize your seed to prevent it from germinating. This will not alter the attractiveness or the nutritional value of the seed in any way. Here are two methods:Conventional Oven: Place the seed on a baking sheet and cook for 30 minutes at 300°F.Microwave Oven: Place seed in a paper bag. Cook on high power for 5 minutes.

Why does the seed in my feeder get moldy?

Mold is caused by a heavy rain, driving sleet or snow plugging the feeding ports and allowing water to dampen the seed. Always clean, dry and refill your feeders after heavy weather. You may also want to try placing 1/4" of cat litter in the bottom of the feeder to absorb excess moisture.

    Love my Panorama Bird Feeder

    By on

I was looking for a bird feeder that could hold more than one type of seed when I discovered the Panorama. After reading the reviews I decided to order it and Chewy’s pricing was by far the best. The birds love it and I am pleased with the product quality and button lock on the roof to prevent squirrels getting access. I would have given it a 5 star had It been easier to fill the lower half of the feeder via the center tube.

    Feeds multiple birds

    By on

This feeder is not only easy to fill but large enough for a white wing dove to sit sideways on a perch! It took a couple of days for my existing birds to get use to it but now I also have new visitors.

    Perky-Pet Feeder

I am very happy with this feeder although I did have a problem getting it closed before I hung it up. The hanger-upper seems to be in the top rather than as part of the feeder itself. Otherwise it works great.

    Birdfeeder

    By on

When opening the top of this bird feeder to fill it with bird seed, something happened to the locking mechanism. Now it will not stay shut. I am sorry but I would not recommend buying this bird feeder

I like that I am able to fill with different seeds, and squirrels so far have been leaving the feeder alone

    So far - so good

    By on

Needed an additional feeder as the squirrels keep emptying my original bird feeder. Having two solved the problem. I can keep up with re-filling them now and the squirrels concentrate on this one and leave the other for the birds. The squirrels have issues with this one and have seen several fall off the feeder which is good entertainment, but they persist. This one holds more seed that the other also which helps as the birds are in full force right now. Easy to use and so far the squirrels have not learned how to open it. Time will tell how it holds up to the elements. This came boxed separately inside the same box with cat litter (20 lbs.) and canned cat food but was not broken which Needed an additional feeder as the squirrels keep emptying my original bird feeder. The cat food cans were all bent up, but still usable. Guess it shows how well built it is. Does seem sturdy. … more
