Feed as a treat. Always have fresh water available.
My headline pretty much sums it up. Seems like a great treat for training. Smelled like bacon. Dog went crazy over it. He had poop slime the next morning so it's not gonna work for us but his stomach is super sensitive so for dog's with less tricky tummies, it might be a great option.
This is a fun game of chase the treat, and a reward after finishing our daily walks. It changes my Golden from a 11 year old girl to a two year old pup. She bounces after each treat like a youngster.
I got these treats to help train my super high energy Aussie puppy. He loves them! And will literally turn flips to get them. I keep a handful in my pocket at all times!!
These treats will stay in our rotation because they are a good value and I really like the thought that has been put into the ingredients. Not grain free, but not every dog needs that feature.
My Poodles favorite treat by far. Even when she goes on a hunger strike, I have not seen her reject these. Careful not to feed too many. Poop starts to look like gelatin. It happened a couple of times but cannot really say for sure if it is related.
My boxers go nuts for these. I rate them as medium-value only because my dogs value cooked chicken and meat higher. We had to change surgical dressings on our younger boxer after a trip to the emergency vet and the only way we could make the experience pleasant for him was to keep him occupied with these treats. He was a very calm patient as we used these rewards. I also use these to stimulate appetite in my senior boxer who doesn't always want to eat his regular kibble in the mornings. However, he'll go for these which will usually remind him that he is actually hungry.
My two dogs are still quiet young (2 yrs and 21 mos) and continually need training. I found that rewarding them with the Pet Botanics after each session, no matter how short, they respond and wait for the treat.
These have been great for training. I like that they are soft and quick for a puppy to chew. That said I like them to be smaller so I cut them in half. I did notice that Pet Botanics has the same ones but smaller so next time I'll order those. My dog likes the flavor, I don't like the smell.
My dog wouldn’t eat these- she just leaves them. I tried two different flavors. She won’t eat either one. I gave them to a friend to see if her dogs would eat them so they wouldn’t go to waste. Nope- her dogs wouldn’t touch them either. She’s giving them to her sister to try yet another dog. Maybe we can find a taker.
My very excitable Goldendoodle loves these bacon flavored, tiny treats! They are only 3 calories each and very small. Perfect for training. My playful dood never wanted to come in from outside. It was to the point I was almost late for work! With these little gems, he knows when I say "Bailey, come," he gets two when he comes inside. Even with daily use, I don't have to worry about him gaining unnecessary weight with these treats. Very satisfied!!!
