I bought this wand toy after my kitties broke their last one. It was their favorite, and they would barely play with anything else. This new one was an instant hit! They both love it and go crazy whenever I bring it out to play with them. There’s a nice tuft of feathers and a little jingle bell (bell can be removed if desired). I love the fact that there are several replacement attachments you can buy to change things up or when the feathers finally get destroyed lol
Just What We Needed!

After losing my other kitty, I knew we needed something engaging. Lila is a feather lover/destroyer. We both love it! The string is super durable & the feathers have mostly held up, though I just opened the second set of feathers after having about 3ish months. I’d say not bad! The pole has come apart maybe twice, but goes back together easy and stays for a long time. Honestly it feels like this whole product is great quality with an option to buy replacement feathers instead of an entire stick!
Great for BIG cats

Ok, so I have been using the simple feather/chaser wands for a long time. Thing is, my cat is big. Not like chunky. Just big. At 16 pounds, she stretches from one end of my couch to another big. Makes a Medium sized dog look and ask, is this dog, BIG. So the small, absolutely adorable, plastic feather/chaser wands, snap in half when she decides to play and none of the feather/chasers last more than a day from her playtime. Not this one. It is STURDY. The rope is thick, the clasp is also nice because it does break away but easy to re-attach with no fear of small metal bead chains being eaten. The pole is also nice and sturdy as well for the giant in the air leap grabs. So, if you have a big catOk, so I have been using the simple feather/chaser wands for a long time. Not our fave.
on Aug 6, 2021
I didn’t realize this one is constructed of a stiff metal pool, utilized a nylon string, and uses a metal connector piece to attach the feather to the nylon! It’s not as flexible as plastic ones I’ve had in the past that allowed me to move around super quickly with my cat, which he loves! This one consistently makes a loud thud when I drag it across the floor for him to chase and I’m always worried the metal piece will hit his eye. :( Good for cats who are intrigued by something casually dangling, not for cats who really want something to chase. I’ll probably give this one away and buy a plastic one instead!
Attach both the toys at once!
on Aug 23, 2021
So my cats were not interested in it too much until I got the brilliant idea to attach both the toys at once. They fly through the air like bird wings and my cats go bonkers for them. I have to hide it on top of the dresser when they're all panting and tired from playing with it. It's got a long reach, making it able to be used for all the cats at once.
my dog loves it!

I wish someone would look at me the way my dog looks at this toy! I have a small dog, and he would always play with my friends cat toy whenever we went over, and I finally got one for him. He keeps barking to play with it (we should’ve never taught him to speak) so for now it’s his favorite toy, it is made of plastic and I’m surprised it hasn’t broken yet considering he likes to tug. I don’t know if it would hold against a bigger dog, but he’s not eating the feathers or anything which is wonderful!!! And it includes a replacement feather and a little bell which was nice! If it ever breaks I will definitely buy this one again.
Ps my dog is now cat I guess
My kittens love this!
on Sep 3, 2021
I had to come back for a second one of these because my kittens both love it. It’s their favorite and as soon as they hear that bell they come running. Very sturdy, too, one of my kittens grabs it with his mouth and he’s got the jaws of a Rottweiler, lol.
Good for some energetic play time
on Jul 15, 2021
My son likes to use this with our 1 year old cat to bust up the "fluffy guys" energy. My son plays a little more spontaneous and energetic than I would but it keeps the young cat engaged. I've also used it for a little more stalking play and it's also kept him following the "prey"...maybe less exciting than when my son uses it with the cat, but gets the job done for a light play session. You have to work on it...you can't just swish it around on the floor in front of your cat or swish it over their head.
Fine except for the wand
on Sep 28, 2021
This toy was fine except the wand doesn’t hold together when I am playing with my youngsters. Same design as another wand. I ordered a one that has retractable wand.

This wand didn't even need the feathers attached to be attractive to my kitten. The bell on the end seemed to be enough! He also wasted no time marking the blue foam handle as his territory too - just one more thing to chew on! As well as the metal rod.... He likes chewing everything! Have only had this a week and only have one feather left on the first attachment. Pick up this wand and my kitten will wake up and be ready to chase! A note, the two wand pieces really need to be jammed together in order to stay together - use force! otherwise a good pounce will "break" the wand in half and need to be re-jammed.
