Description

Give your pet the boost he needs with the Pet Gear Bi-Fold Dog & Cat Ramp with SupertraX. This high-quality ramp allows your dog or cat to easily climb into your vehicle or other hard-to-reach places without risking injury or straining your back. The removable SupertraX mat features a pressure-activated material that provides extra grip and stability by increasing the paw’s surface contact area when he steps on it. Rubberized grips on the bottom of the ramp keep it from slipping while in use, while the provided safety tether secures it to the back of most vehicles for added stability. And because of its bi-fold design, it's easy to store, plus it has a convenient carrying handle to make it simple to transport.

    Fantastic Ramp!

    By on

I bought this ramp after doing a lot of research. My 11 year old Shih Tzu has started having vision issues which make it hard for him to judge the distance of the stairs on our front porch, so he would just jump from the top step. This ramp was delivered very quickly, and there was zero assembly! My boy took to it right away, and I'm no longer worried about him getting hurt on the stairs! I positioned it on the top stair, and it does not move at all when he goes up/down it. I like that the ramp is portable, if I want to use it with my SUV, too. This ramp is very well made, stable, and the removable pads are a big plus!!

    Dog rescuer

Wouldn't recommend sags in center for large dogs. Bottom of ramp has no way of securing and is not stable moves making it a risk to use, by ones self. The top attachment, the same cannot tighten it enough to make the ramp stable. Top and bottom both move. Requires 2nd individual to help stabilize ramp. The pic shows large wire haired terrier standing on it So I bought two of them, big joke. The ramp isn't even wide enough for my dogs therefore making it one frightening ramp. I liked the idea of removing the ramp pads for cleaning. I have no idea if the other person I bought this ramp for has attempted to use it, she probably wouldn't say anything negative, just not say anything at all, since Wouldn't recommend sags in center for large dogs. Thumbs down all the way on this ramp, unless you have small to mid-sized dogs. … more

    Pet ramp training

    By on

I love the pet ramp. The artificial turf is great for safe walking. My dogs are use to pet stairs but they are getting old and the stairs we're getting hard for them to use. They were afraid of the ramp and would jump off so I put it across the inside doorway and now they are walking on it.

    Works as promised

    By on

Just received it today and had to try it right out. I was afraid my 14 year old collie shepherd would not take to it as readily as he did. Initially I had him walk on it when I just had it on the grass; then I put it at the curb so there'd be a bit of an angle. And then to the 27 inch high back of my SUV. I had him on the leash and had another person with me standing on the other side of the ramp. This was very helpful as he came near to falling off the first time. It would be nice if the ramp were wider but that would make it heavier. I decided I wanted to have something that served as sort of a railing near the top, as sort of a visual cue that he had to stay towards the middle. Just received it today and had to try it right out. I used a little piece of very lightweight wooden garden fence and I think it was helpful when I didn't have someone standing on the other side of the ramp. A tall piece of cardboard could serve the same function. Initially I couldn't find the handle that the description said the ramp had, but then I saw on the box that it is built in … more

    Ramp as advertised

Wide enough and has good grip for paws. Has a little flex in the middle which is spooking our dog but she is getting braver and braver.

It is sturdy and she feels safe using it. She is getting older and so am I. She needs assistance in getting into the car.

    Works like a charm

My older Golden is starting to have hip problems and could no longer jump in my truck. With the ramp it is a easy walk for her to the seat. No time learning how to use it.

    Very good so far.

I spent a long time researching dog-to-vehicle ramps before I chose this one. When I was looking up other brands and different models of ramps, I read the reviews, of course. I saw several pictures of cut and bleeding dog paws, read several stories of dogs falling off of unstable ramps, and a lot of complaints that whatever gripping surfaces the different companies used, there was always a problem. This ramp however, has been great so far! It took a little prompting, but I was able to get my Buddy to walk up. (I also had him leashed) I could see the instant change in how much easier it was to get him into the truck. It was way easier on his body than jumping up. He is 12, and about 65 lbs. I chose this size/weight limit of ramp, because I also have a smaller dog who is about 15 lbs., and eventually they will most likely go up the ramp at the same time. The Super-Trax material on the ramp is so much more comfortable on the dog's feet than some sandpaper thing. Plus, the added benefit of the Super-Trax mat being removable for easy washing was great. Velcro strips underneath are actually screwed into the plastic, so it is reinforced. And, it's a safe and comfortable grip for the dog's paws. All in all, I'd say this is a fantastic product! I'm glad I looked around before I bought anything different. … more

    Great idea but disappointing

    By on

Bought this for my 7 month 65lb puppy as he has a knee problem and can’t jump into the car.I had high hopes when the ramp arrived found it quiet narrow and although it says sutible for dogs 150 lbs it did sag in the middle and unless I blocked his vision like horse blinkers I could not get him to use it no matter how many treats I offered.
