Great Danes!
By Tracie on Nov 25, 2021
This is the ONLY ramp that I have found that supports my great danes and that they aren't terrified of. They are older and can't jump in my vehicle that is lifted. Ramp is kind of bulky, but it fits fine in my jeep with two great danes. They walked up it instantly. Also great to leave at my moms house since her bed is very high. May not be practical for everyone, but is a lifesaver for me !!

Need more info.
By Cindy77 on Nov 28, 2021
My 15 yr old Lab has lost "spring" in his back legs after chasing a deer in my back yard. I have a 24" high bed. He wasn't able to jump up on it. This item seemed perfect. Once I received it, the directions (inside the box) said not to leave dog unattended. That's impossible. We're together all day and night, but not every minite. Had to return it. Still looking for a solution :(

Perfect for blind large dogs
By AkitaMom on Apr 14, 2021
I bought this step in 2018 when I adopted my blind Akita. They are the perfect height for my SUV. Additionally, the steps are deep enough that my boy can stand fully on either level before moving on/off the step.

Excellent stairs for a larger old dog
By JKLX on Jan 18, 2021
I use this to help my older dog climb up to my bed. It supports his weight (~80lbs) easily and doesn't slip and slide, even on tile. I like that the platforms are large enough for my dog to stand on so that he can take the stairs one at a time instead of having to scramble up a steeper incline with a larger number of small stairs.

Good for inside the house, not portable
By Sam88888 on Aug 20, 2020
I bought this because one of my dogs had an old shoulder injury and one had a back injury a year ago. My king bed is 28” high and dogs are 24” at the back, so I know it isn’t good for them to be jumping and landing off of my bed. I did NOT buy this for an SUV and think it is too heavy to use for travel. I do think it should have three steps, which is why I only gave it four stars. Either that or only two, but the top level should be lower so it is two steps and then a step onto the bed. It is very stable and I can walk on it, and my dogs used stairs before so they adjusted quickly. I think they will mostly use the bottom step, however if that saves them from jumping all the way to the I bought this because one of my dogs had an old shoulder injury and one had a back injury a year ago. I love my dogs and want them to be able to jump onto my bed into their older years, so it doesn’t matter to me. … more

Works, but takes forever to setup
By rottie on Oct 11, 2020
This works for getting my 80 pound dog into the trucks back seat, but takes forever to setup and my little one wants to get on it right away. Will probably need to find something that is a bit faster to set for her.

There is an alternative to this for bedside
By Mtnbrookie on Sep 4, 2020 top500Contributor
I love chewy and am looking for a ramp for my new car, came across his abs was just sad people had to get this huge thing when I’ve made a “step up “ that works for all 3 dogs from 16 lbs to 119 lb Labrador! ( I put a picture of it bc the idea is the same as this step thing) I used an end of bed bench ( beside my bed ( not at the end ) under it I used a “ pouf “ that is sold stuffed ( not bean bag type ! ) I covered both with those soft chenille drying towels to give my small dogs some surface to grip - hope that helps !( I’ve used this 3 years now in my new house - my bed is a queen size but higher than most ( antique bed )

Perfect for beside bed
By lynn9 on Jul 28, 2020
This stays set up next to the bed to allow my dog access to his favorite sleeping spot. It is very sturdy and can hold a heavy dog or human without issue. Mine did arrive with a dent in one corner, but it didn’t bother me enough to try to return it. I don’t plan to fold and move it often, but it does fold into a manageable size and could be moved or put in a car if needed. It is bulky, though, and I wouldn’t suggest this for use as a portable step where you have to set it up and take it down a lot. It is perfect for either the side or the foot of a bed or to access a bath or maybe a couch. My dog took to using it right away and also likes to lay under the taller step to sleep sometimes. Surprisingly As Described
By Melanie on Oct 18, 2020
Nice and sturdy for our aging princess. Well made. We bought it for the bed and she is still getting use to it but is using the bottom step for now and feel secure doing so.
