Perfect for beside bed
By lynn9 on Jul 28, 2020
This stays set up next to the bed to allow my dog access to his favorite sleeping spot. It is very sturdy and can hold a heavy dog or human without issue. Mine did arrive with a dent in one corner, but it didn’t bother me enough to try to return it. I don’t plan to fold and move it often, but it does fold into a manageable size and could be moved or put in a car if needed. It is bulky, though, and I wouldn’t suggest this for use as a portable step where you have to set it up and take it down a lot. It is perfect for either the side or the foot of a bed or to access a bath or maybe a couch. My dog took to using it right away and also likes to lay under the taller step to sleep sometimes. Surprisingly As Described

Nice and sturdy for our aging princess. Well made. We bought it for the bed and she is still getting use to it but is using the bottom step for now and feel secure doing so.

There is an alternative to this for bedside
By dogmom62 on Sep 3, 2020
I love chewy and am looking for a ramp for my new car, came across his abs was just sad people had to get this huge thing when I’ve made a “step up “ that works for all 3 dogs from 16 lbs to 119 lb Labrador! ( I put a picture of it bc the idea is the same as this step thing) I used an end of bed bench ( beside my bed ( not at the end ) under it I used a “ pouf “ that is sold stuffed ( not bean bag type ! ) I covered both with those soft chenille drying towels to give my small dogs some surface to grip - hope that helps !( I’ve used this 3 years now in my new house - my bed is a queen size but higher than most ( antique bed )

Sturdy but heavy and awkward
By Tlynn on Aug 12, 2020
I bought this for my senior danes to easily get into back of my car. For that, this will work quite well. I don’t think it is portable enough to haul around with me once the dogs are in the car. It is super heavy and awkward to carry...no handle anywhere. But like I said, it IS sturdy. The box arrived damaged so the corners of the product were damaged as well. I’m just surprised it’s so expensive when it isn’t a perfect solution by any means.

Good for inside the house, not portable
By Lisa555 on Aug 19, 2020
I bought this because one of my dogs had an old shoulder injury and one had a back injury a year ago. My king bed is 28” high and dogs are 24” at the back, so I know it isn’t good for them to be jumping and landing off of my bed. I did NOT buy this for an SUV and think it is too heavy to use for travel. I do think it should have three steps, which is why I only gave it four stars. Either that or only two, but the top level should be lower so it is two steps and then a step onto the bed. It is very stable and I can walk on it, and my dogs used stairs before so they adjusted quickly. I think they will mostly use the bottom step, however if that saves them from jumping all the way to the I bought this because one of my dogs had an old shoulder injury and one had a back injury a year ago. I love my dogs and want them to be able to jump onto my bed into their older years, so it doesn’t matter to me. … more

Perfect for my pups
By Angela on Aug 26, 2020
I have two elderly pup, 12 and 13, respectively and a four year old chihuahua. The older ones have become quite timid on the molded stair steps they had been using. The treads are very narrow. They are far more comfortable with this because they have a larger platform to jump on.

Works, but takes forever to setup
By rottie on Oct 11, 2020
This works for getting my 80 pound dog into the trucks back seat, but takes forever to setup and my little one wants to get on it right away. Will probably need to find something that is a bit faster to set for her.

Best that I have found yet
By Dave on Jul 16, 2020
Good and sturdy 105 lb male and 135 princess Golden works well to get them into the back of 2010 Explorer. Must use leash to guide them, but could never get them up a ramp. Price was 40 less than Wayfair and other sites. Only thing I believe this unit might have been a return, due to already dog haired and missing a locking clip.

Do Not Buy
By Jenny on Jun 12, 2020
It is heavy and cumbersome to fold/unfold and stabilize. Takes up a lot of room in the car, not easy to travel with at all.

Love this ramp!
By Karen264 on Jan 26, 2020
I have a large boxer and I have tried 2 other ramps and he didn't like either one and refused to use them. No matter what treat I tried as a reward. This one took me about a week to get him to use. Now he uses it regularly to get on the bed. It's stable and wide enough that he feels comfortable on it. Probably too big to use as a vehicle ramp but that isn't what I needed it for.
